Every so often I come back and reread this because I enjoy it so much. It's refreshing to have a different look at these characters.

I...Ok, first, I had better say that I was sent into this by a friend. I also must say that I hated Hojo with a passion that almost all Vincent fans possess. Part of the hate came from a doujinshi, which is not a good place to get opinions from. However, this is written so well, that I find myself thinking about everything and seeing that it could work. Also, I do not hate Hojo anymore. I still don't think I'm a fan of the coupling, but all the same, it takes a wonderfully written piece of work to make me change my hatred of people. Lucrecia is forever beyond redemption, however. I have always hated her. Thank you for writing something that is worth spending several hours fighting with my wireless connection to read.

I was appalled to see that I had already reviewed this. And such a review as well! Do ignore it. Here is my new review:

This is FANTASTIC. I have found dozens of lines that were perfect (more so during the first few chapters). It was a bit confusing to read at first because of how Hojo kept jumping to the time that he and Vincent were lovers. Insane Hojo did not ramble so much, which I found unexpected. The last few chapters were straightforward, without any sign of insanity in Hojo's mind.

I love how WELL you used first person point of view. I have rather grown tired of first person since not many authors actually use it correctly. The emotions you portray are simple, yet they speak loudly.

Brilliant characterizations of all of the characters. I love Lucrecia's evil characterization, even though usually I'm fond of Lucrecia. And THANK YOU for not giving Hojo a second name. Some stories call him Arthur or Ned or something and it becomes just really confusing. This was perfect.

I did find some spelling mistakes but I'll ignore it for now. Next time I read, I'll point out everything, from what I liked to the miniscule mistakes.

I like this. Hojo is so casual and yet has a lot of dramatic mental flairs. He's believable. Your story is interesting and makes me want to read more. I liked that you took time with the introductions while showing layers of the story together, overlapping. I could easily and happily read this no matter how long it got. Good work.

I was imagining something different, but it just captivated me to the very end. So I beg you to continue it, it is really intriguing! or is it finished? anyways I'd love to see more of it!

I'll review. Interestesting perspective. I'd like you to continue. I like the pairing, even if its not abusive like most Hojo/Vin fics are.
