Just a couple things wrong with this story. For one, it's too short and it feels very rushed, like it was a chore to write as opposed to a joy.
The second is the timing of which this story takes place. I noticed that Irvine was missing but since Rinoa's there it means this story took place sometime between their escape from Timber to their arrival at Galbadia Garden. If that's the case then no problem regarding Zell not shutting up, because he was busy moping in sullen silence for his mis-speak in Timber. The part where he tells the whole world that they're from Garden. He's too busy worrying that his mistake is gonna destroy Garden to be a chatter box, so this story couldn't have happened in the timeframe you are specifying.
