For a moment, I thought you were going to to follow the story all the way through, but that twist with the one night thing? A great surprise! I would have though, in the beginning, enjoyed hearing more of what Kimmy was thinking. I was curious on what she was feeling about the place, how she saw the structure. Though, the detail later on was great!
The second person isn't used very often. It's really a nice change! I bet that was a challenge to write in that fashion. So, congrats with pulling it off!
