I don't know anything about Final Fantasy 7, but I'm a French translator, so I do know about that. "Revêtement" means "facing" in an architectural sense. For the sense I think you mean, the term would probably be "en face de" or "devant".
That said, I do like amouamount of description of characters you used. Even though I don't know anything else about them, I can see what they look like.
