Um, no offense, but...what??
I suppose if your future chapters aren't this spread out and vague, this could definitely prove to be something worth reading. But what you have posted here would have made a better introduction to a chapter than a chapter itself. Perhaps you should have waited to put this in the beginning of the next chapter?
