Another insanely good chapter! Gods you're evil leaving people like me at cliffies like that!
Smoothly written. Your jokes never fail to make me laugh. Thanks for making me smile through this really stressful exam period.
I do hope you write more soon. Take care now!

AH! YOU CAME BACK! That makes me so happy! I thought you were never coming back! Yay!
Reno had a carton of milk in one hand and a box of Choco Puffs in the other. He hadn't bothered with a bowl and spoon, stating A) he was planning on eating the whole box of cereal, B) he didn't feel like washing any dishes, and C) if anyone had a problem with him drinking milk from the carton, they could blow him.
Fucking hilarious. I fucking adore how you do Reno. He's perfect. Fuckin' A!

To be honest with you, I know absolutely nothing about final fantasy. Im too busy with real life, school, a career, etc, Ive never even cared. I know people who like iit, I guess. But even then they were more or less ambivalent.
All I know is that FF(too many to count) is a video game.. I dont know who these people are, what materia is, ect. The first time I read over this, I kept wondering what relation the turks had to Turkey (the country), what's an Aeris, and why Shin-ra was suborninate to the Turks. etc.
With that said, youve still managed to make me like this story. I suppose that's the best compliment I can give you. Your characters have a dynamic that works solidly, and are in themselves as mutifaceted as characters should be. Reno is not just a rebellous goofoff, when the situation demands it he can be a strong and decisive leader, etc.
You've convinced someone who's never touched Final Fantasy, who's always disgusted by "Adult" themes in fanfiction to enjoy your story, enough to spend hours on wikipedia looking for more BKG info.
Youre good, I really have to give you that.

Recced in on a forum and too lazy to retype so copypasting here. S'all true, though.

" "What about it? Like this wasn't already bad enough before. Now I have to go on living knowing that this little monster is drinking its own piss inside my synthetic man-uterus? !" "
---
Read it if only for that. A Final Fantasy VII fic in which Hojo did something weird to Reno and now Reno has to deal with it all the meanwhile keeping up with Turk business and those pesky AVALANCHE kids. Rude and Elena co-star in the fic as well, facing almost as much of an ordeal watching over Reno as Reno does in carrying Aeris' little Ancient tadpole.
An exception in quality to most FFVII fics in general, not just mpreg fics, because *gasp!* it deals directly with events from the game! There's a real sense of this taking place in the FFVII universe, not just some generic quick photo backdrop so many fics are prey to. Add to this a very in-chara Reno and interaction from his fellow Turk members Rude and Elena, and you've got a solid story. While the mpreg is the overall plot of the story, it's not to the point that every sentence directly refers to it. Shit still happens. A meteor is about to slam the frigging planet and Reno's still got a job to do.
"Evolution of a Turk" treads a very nice line between not taking itself too seriously and still presenting a non-parody story. It also avoids several mpreg cliches rather nicely. The doctor is shocked to find out a male is carrying a baby:
---
" "Last one saw me was a fucking nutjob." Reno remarked.
Dr Harte nodded. "Understood. If we could get down to business,"
"Of course." Tseng paused, and deciding Reno really wasn't going to say a word, continued, "How often do you deal with high risk pregnancies?"
"Whenever one comes along, I suppose." the doctor paused and looked to Elena. "I'll need to examine you before we determine anything."
Elena shook her head, and appeared a little flustered. "N-no. Not me..."
"I don't understand." Dr. Harte admitted.
Reno pushed away from where he'd been leaning on the wall, and spoke up. "Told you the last doctor saw me was a fucking nutjob." "
---
Dunno about the rest, but I'm kinda tired of the ol' doc smiling and calmly announcing to a guy, "You're having twins!"
And best of all, bestest best of all, upon finding out he is with child, Reno's first reaction is somewhere along the lines of wanting to dig it out with a rusty spoon. None of that, "But it's a wittle human life! Meh bebeh!" No. He freaks. Wants it *out*. Over the course of the fic, he does develop a bregruding tolerence for it, to the point where he does recognize it as at least potentially human. This is done over the course of several chapters, however. In which stuff happens. And... hooboy... characters actually change and *develop*.
Dear god. Three dimensional characters? What will these wacky fan-authors think of next?

Interesting story:) I really liked the way the characters have been developing, but it seems odd Reno didn't put much effort in getting rid of the baby in the beginning. I think he would have been more than delighted about the fact that a great consumption of alcohol and drugs are a safer way to get rid of the kid in the beginning of the pregnancy than an abortion. Please, continue this story:)

I think I died giggling at this chapter. It is odd, yes, but not out of character to learn how to /sew/ just to get clothes. And him stealing Rude's pants and hemming them just cracks me up. I love how you deal with the dynamics between the three Turks, and hopefully Tseng will be back. The Turks are kind of empty without their leader bossing them around. -snerk-
