Wow... Has it really been six years?

And after all this time, this still remains one of my all-time favorite stories. I just finished reading it again, and it's as good as I remembered.

One thing, though -- One of you might want to go back and touch-up the formatting. It's gone a bit wonky. D:

...I like to point out random things I REALLY enjoyed[lol]:
I LOVE this evil, manipulative, lying Squall. I've never actually read him like that before... He'd make a GREAT villian!
...'Forming peaks' is indeed, the stupidest baking directive EVER.
I sort of wish Squally would've ended up happy, too... but I appreciate that the story didn't go offtrack for that to happen, especially since he was all evil. XDD To be completely honest. I think I love Squall so much in this because he acts the same way I did with my wife before she broke down and agreed to go out with me. XDDD

I LOVE this story.
For some reason. Irvine crying is just SO cute to me. I'd never imagined it before. And I LOVE Zell and Seifer working together!!!

Just wanted to comment that I LOVE Selphie in this, too! [drives me crazy how everyone goes out of thier way to make her seem annoying. ><]

Why do you hate Squall so much T_T Making him all evil and stalky like. Poor Squall.

OH MY SWEET JESUS! I just read chapter 43 and i think i just did something that wasn't pee in my pants :O! Your storie is GREAT!

Not long ago, I somehow managed to read just about everything in FF7 that caught my attention. Being a quick reader and having too much free time means good stories are devoured quickly - sometimes /too/ quickly. So, out of boredom, I looked for something nice and long, and Lightning caught my eye.

I've never played FF8, so I know very little of the actual plot or characters. I'd been trying to avoid stories in that area for that reason. I'm VERY glad I gave in, though.

This is a marvelous story. The way the characters are portrayed, and the relationships between them all are excellent. As soon as I was done with the last chapter, I sat down and read the whole thing again almost immediately because I couldn't get enough of it. I'm kinda disappointed that you reached the end - but it's such a perfect ending that I really don't mind.

Thank you guys for giving us such a marvelous story to entertain ourselves with!

what happened to the real chapter 55 (in which zell must be dreaming)? i read it on ff.net but when i went to see it on here it wasn't there. it went to this chapter. :(
