Wow. This was sweet, gruff, charming, angry and thoughtful all at once. This has to be one of the best introspective type fics I've read; I like the lack of dialogue and the rough interaction between Cloud and Reno. I mean, let's face it, if they ever got together it wouldn't exactly be sunshine and rainbows, would it? I also enjoyed the idea that is was Reno making the first move and that he seemed to plan for the whole affair to take a long time. This was amazing, very cool and quite realistic. Thanks for writing!

I really loved how Cloud and Reno were characterized... just felt right. The whole thing was incredible; beautiful, really. I don't think I have the words to describe the whole of the story... so I'll just say that I enjoyed it very much. A lot of emotion that will be staying with me for a while.

Ficcage doesn't get much better than this. It's raw and realistic and definitely unfluffy. The pain and hurt is there, but not melodramatic. It's life as life is when a person is stuck in one place, nursing hurt and just marking time quietly waiting for it to fade, without the overwrought angsting and uber-poetic imagery. I like how befuddled Cloud is by Reno's sudden presence in his life and how he eventually winds down and accepts it, even looks forward to it. Once again, you show why you're miles above hacks like me. I really couldn't ask for a more realistic look at a slice of life.

I caught a wiff of this at Fanfiction.net, and then i couldnt find it to finish it. I LOVE.THIS.STORY! I love the way it is written, I love the way you portrayed the characters. Everything was just wonderful.
