Aww... I always thought Rufus and Sephiroth were like two peas in a horrible, horrible pod. While reading your story and analyzing their characters, everything seems pretty damn cannon. Your delving into Sephiroth's past while not really touching on much is very well done. And tying Cloud into this whole thing makes it even better. Maybe Sephiroth will give Rufus a taste of his own medicine? Not that I condone cheating of any sort, that is, but it would work with this storyline. You're an awesome writer and should continue on with your work. Have a super great day.

Ahhh! I fucking love you, man! You write the best messed up in the head Sephiroth ever. It's so violent and yet hilarious. I love the inner monologues, love the side characters, love teh sex. I enjoy how you made him bat-shit eating insane before he REALLY blew his nuts in Nibilhelm. And I also agree with your 'Rufus is a gay ho' stance. Ahh, if only Tetsuya Nomura had the balls to put some really twisted stuff in the FF7 prequel..

Just read the latest chapter. THAT WAS SO HILARIOUS! The best parts were pretty much Rufus trying to be an asshole after all that abuse, LMAO and Sephiroths facial expression and the way you explained the shock of it all LMFAO Thank you! That cheered me up today hahaha

OMG!!!ÇoÇ now this is mind blowing!!! O_o, yes am one of those attached to this story since the very begining and , yes I also think that am completely insane for enjoying it so much.I laughed like crazy with the statue titles, the 'plotting murderer'was great, so please update soon, am chewing my nails and waiting for more Seph madeness, i love him ¬¬

Actually, Hojo is Sephiroth's father. In the game, Hojo says that he will fire the Mako cannon at Sephiroth because it will give his SON more energy. Eceryone had !!!!! over their heads in blue bubbles, and Vincent said "Then the one that should have slept was YOU Hojo!" I think it implied that Vincent had thought Sephiroth his son, but finally realized he was Hojo's.

This is incredibly controversial, especially on Advent Children Forums. Though I have not been there for a while, so I don't know who's "winning". But I think those game quotes ("evidence") is sufficient enough to conclude that Hojo is Sephiroth's father. Some people honestly put pictures side by side and compared the "photos," which I find is amusing. They say that Vincent "clearly" has a "button nose" and Sephiroth has a "Greek / straight nose" like Hojo does. I personally think this is overkill.

And since Sephiroth is also reluctant to speak of his father, it might be because he hates him or that he doesn't want anyone to compare his father to him. Who wants to be compared to Hojo? But that's just my opinon. No need to take my opinion, I might be a minority.

Also...

Thinking about his past was something he had never dared to do. It always had held a certain ominous quality, invoking an odd feeling of dread in the back of his mind whenever he thought of it. So, he just didn’t dwell on it. That was then and this is now. Why worry over something that was unchangeable? He had tried to figure out who his family was before, with little luck. Hojo, who was always more than ready to give him an answer, had sharply told him they were both dead and to leave it alone.

You still have Sephiroth speaking of not knowing his parents. There are other paragraphs than the one you edited with his musing. = )
