Subtle, that was not, at least not at the end. Very well written, I loved the banter between the two. I usually tend to stay away from OC characters, but given the theme and situation, it worked out wonderfully and you kept the focus mainly on the scene and not trying to give some vapid backstory to a character that didn't need more than a name and a physical description. The whole piece flowed wonderfully, well described and played out. Shocked no one had given this one a good review yet, so here I am. Keep up the excellent work!
