Goodness...I mean...wow. This is a GREAT story so far. I can't wait for the next chapters to come out. Aside from a few grammatical errors (a "her" should be a "him", though I don't quite remember the chapter that's in.), it's also very well written. The erotic scenes are wonderful, and very much arousing IMO. ;) I also love the recent interactions between Yuffie and Nanaki, and I was pleasantly suprised with Nanaki's transformation into a demi-human. They're a very cute couple, as is Reeve and Reno. However, I must say that Vincent/Cid is my favorite pairing. ;)

I was honestly suprised with the turn of events regarding Tifa. I take it you must not like her. I was even more shocked at the fact that you brought Aerith back. Honestly, I didn't like that turn much, considering I loath Aerith. ;D But oh well. I do like the way it's turned out regarding her reappearence. I think I'd kinda like see Aerith slap Tifa in the face in this story. It'd be rather humorous.

And by the way, you're much too harsh on yourself when it comes to the combat scenes. You're actually quite good at it. :)

Well, it's always nice to hear Chaos and Galian Beast gripe, now with Racer commentary! It's funny, in an awkward way. I've always imagined the demons to have their own distinct personalities, maybe not all bloodthirsty and evil, but whatever, we all have our own perspectives.

I do think Lucretia got what was coming, but I do hope she finds death soon. No doubt she's suffered almost (just almost) as much as Vincent has. The difference between Lucretia and Vincent is that Lucretia deserved it, and Vincent was an innocent. (Well, as innocent as a Turk can be) But in the end, it all boils down to the ShinRa, and how the corruption in the company lead to its demise, destroyed countless lives, and put thousands more, and even the entire planet in danger. Just messed up in the head. Like Cloud. And Vincent. I was never a Vincent/Lucretia supporter, anyways. The flashbacks in the game made me think that she rejected him flat out from the beginning, but he was too much in love to accept it and move on.

That's Vincent's biggest problem and weakness, accepting and moving on. All the "what ifs" and "could haves" do nothing but weigh him down because he can't let go. That's why he's terminally miserable.

And that's why he needs a certain blonde-haired, curse-spewing, cancer stick-using, tea-abusing, aviation-obsessed, spear-wielding, Vincent-loving Highwind to be with him every step of the way.

Now that Cid and Vincent have finally admitted to themselves that they need each other, the next step is saying it to each other. Cid should get by okay, afterall, he did manage to scrounge up the guts to try, only to be stopped by Vincent, however, we probably have the gunslinger to worry about a little.

Veld knew Vincent, in one of the chapters of Before Crisis, the Turks awaken him to have a chat for something or other. Vincent recognizes Veld, when he's awoken. *nods sagely* Good that you put that footnote in there. :3 Verily good. Now let's hope that Dirge of Cerebus shows Lucrecia signing Vincent's death warrent, so to speak.

She's such a bitch.. I used to feel sorry for her, but.. I hate your version of Lucrecia. She's a ho.

Lovely chapters! But *thinks* did I miss something in plot? Or do I just need to go back and re-read again? *thinks some more* I must have missed something.... because - if I’m not mistaken - you're hinting at Rude/Shera aren’t you? I had to re-read the last two chapts twice to come to that conclusion (maybe I’m just slow, wouldn’t be the first time). Well, that's my best guess! (I still think I must have missed something earlier or need to re-read the fic again ^_^;;; )

Great introspection on Cid's part too! I was squealing like the fangirl I am over it~! Can't wait to see what Vincent is up to as well! XD
