...i will try not to get too discouraged. and i am looking for to the next one, there will just be this 5 minute period where i will be sad. Anyway, yet again another great chapter. i thought you did well with describing both battle scenes ^_^. Great job...again!

Tonberries! I hate tonberries! I always run from battle when I face those buggers, they kill me so good. ;_;

Vincent cracked a joke. :D He's breaking down. Gosh I just love the characters, and you keep adding your own little summons and such, which is so cool. ^___^ EEEE.

Carbuncle is so cute! X3 I want one of my own now. I hate the zombie dragons, by the way. Nasty masters in the crater. :3 I think you did wonderfully. XD It's bee awhile since I fought Sephiroth, but I think your battle descriptions are good. Cid comforting Reno was very sweet, and feel bad for all the pairings being seperated. Poor dears have to worry about each other. X3 Well get that next chapter out as soon as you can. :3

you write battle scenes so well! i am jealous.. i get lazy and it always ends up sounding like "There was a big bomb and everyone died..the end." But you are so descriptive..it is lovely..and yet i am sad. i don't want to see the last chapter..because that means it will be over..come to think of it, i never did complete the end of the game. i was forced to watch it, but i refused to kill sephiroth.. i just couldn't bring myself to do it..but of course he kicked my ass in about 10 seconds...oh man..i am depressed again. i would say i can't wait till the next chapter, but i can. i don't want it to end yet...*cries*

OMG! Just as I was about to go to bed... I said to myself: Well, check Shattered Ice again, it can't hurt. And BAM! Ficcage!

Now, I'm totally down with how you've got Reno and Reeve involved in the final battle! It truly is a twist unlike any I've seen before! (Not to mention Nanaki in demi-human form o'course) Your battle scenes themselves are incredible! I'm personally hoping that maaaaybe we'll see a tonberry? So cute~ ^_^o

I also love how you split up the team by couple - it gives good openings for the angst factor. And how you matched out their strengths and weaknesses is perfect! I also have to say, you keep up this excellent work and you will quickly reach Twig Collins (LHR) status - for me you already have (In regards to the Cid/Vin ship - which I had so very much so wanted!) I hope your sequel will include some, if not all, of the pairings mentioned in this fic - at least cameos~ You are creating an epic beyond my expectations, and I love ya for doing so!

Now, excuse me whilst I go light a candle at the alter I have fashioned to ya and worship ya before I sleep! ^_~

Top quality action, if I do say so myself. I could learn a thing or two from you. I always considered my action scenes adequate at best. The newest story I'm writing contains a lot of it, and your chapter gave me a few pointers on how to write some better fights. So, thank you for the unintended lesson in battle-writing. Back to the fic.

And aha, all the couples are seperated. ANGUISH. For all of them. But it might be better that way, more focusing on the task at hand (and some adorable fretting) and less "OH NOES! MY TRUE LOVE IS BEING ATTACKED! I MUST SAVE MY DELICATE LOVER!" *Insert cliché taking the hit while protected person goes through the "Why?" routine here*

How nice of Barret to give a parting gift. He may be spending what he feels might be the last of his days with his daughter and a new girlfriend, but he hasn't forgotten AVALANCHE, or better put, his friends and what they went through together. An Ultima Materia. Wonder where he got that? He's been out of action for a long time. Maybe Elmyra had it stashed somewhere.

How about a "There ain't no getting offa dis train we're on!" for old time's sake?

And I'm still hung up on the family thing with Barret, Cloud, and Aeris. If all goes well, they'll be related to each other. I'd love to see them come to terms with that. Sounds like good comedy fodder to me.
