An interesting oneshot. It's also a good filler scene.

Beautiful story. Not many writers can get into Sephiroth's mind, but you did it perfectly. You wrote him so in-character. Good job!
I love how you pointed out that Cloud's weakness is that he never got into SOLDIER. It's little references to the game like that, that I love.
I don't agree with Christy. I liked the start. It gave a good perspective on when the story is set.
I would have liked a bit more reaction from Cloud at the end, when Sephiroth assumed Cloud was trying to steal the Black Materia though

Hey! It's Christy, just dropping a line. I have to admit, the beginning didn't catch my interest at first. It was kind of mleh. But then....once you started delving into Sephiroth's mind....and the lifestream...it became a sonnet of words. They flowed beautifully, and Sephiroth seemed......perfectly Sephiroth, not good...not evil...just Sephiroth.
It comes down to one word. Extravagance.
