I don't know why it took me so long to read this. It's awesome! Sad, but awesome.
I know this was posted a long time ago, but I'd like a fourth part. I'm gonna be crying whenever I think of Vincent, now. X3 Of course, I know there's a lot on your plate right now, so I won't be surprised if it can't be done. =3
Anyway, a it's a great short story that rips out your heart and smacks you with it, but that's just how life is. Choices are never easy to make where the heart is concerned. With all the fluff I've been reading from other authors, I think I needed that reality check. X3 Great job, Draco-san! ^w^

Shit, dude, that was absolutely terrible! I mean the situation, not your writing. You're a great writer, and the way you developed the situation was great too. What I mean by it being terrible is that I read it and went, "Damn, Cloud is an asshole. I almost feel like he deserves to be alone."
Not really, though. That would be the most depressing thing. The savior of the world, especially one as self-effacing as Cloud, always deserves to be happy. Even if this time it was completely his own fault. Not even just that he was cheating. He should have taken Reno more seriously.
Anyway, my rambling is over. Great work, dude! I would welcome a sequel or an extension.

Oh man. And right after I'd gotten done commenting how they deserved a happy ending. You really are mean, aren't you?
And it figures this would be the last one of your stories I had left to read. How so very unfair. I do hope you don't leave it like this. Sad endings are so... sad!

WAAAAAAH!!! You are a goddess at writing angst ToT your story made me cry, I simply LOVED it! but...a sad ending...or to continue it..AH! THE HARDEST DECISION....I don't know if encouraging you to continue it or let it be the perfect angst...oh my god....dang, my curiosity wins...can you continue it? xDuu ...dang me...

Eeek, you have to write more! Even if it's just another chapter...I would really like to see more of an aftermath - Just to see where everybody is headed. And by the way. what was it that Vincent gave to cloud for his birthday? No matter how many times I read the paragraph, the most I get from it is that it was metal. Oh and I really do want to know what exactly was said between Reno and Vincent..though I can imagine what happened.

I think the best part about this story is that Reno had feelings. Forgive me, I've just written a HUGE paper and my brain is a bit lacking in intelligent thought, but...well usually Reno is portrayed (especially with Cloud) as someone who is just there for a frivolous affair. I honestly didn't expect repercussion - for Reno to tell Vincent and not put up with being of secondary importance. While still staying true to Reno's character, you've shown a human side too. The moment Cloud realizes his fling actually has feelings for him strikes me as the most absolutely brilliant part of this whole story.
Great ride as usual. Personally, I would love to see more (though I'm sure you knew that already ^_^)

Loved the ending. Very classy in the 'Damned if he does and damned if he doesn't' stakes and glad you went for the angsty ending. It suits Cloud oh-so-well and it's not so angsty that I find myself rolling my eyes and thinking 'Stop being an idiot'.
Actually kinda hated Reno for the first time too.....because, despite the fact he might have acted with the best of intentions, whathe did was below the belt. Plus the Road to Hell is paved with them....so it was never going to end well anyway.
In truth I'm somewhat of a FFVII heathen. I'm not very far into the game but know all the particulars from online sources and such and have made up my own views and opinions of Mr. Valentine. That and I still drool over Advent Children on a fairly regular basis. But even the misinformed can see where you're coming from in terms of 'being off the mark' with Dirge of Cerberus.
Many a time I dearly wanted to give Vincent a backhander across the face for being such a pussy. But despite everything, that voice always sends a shiver right down my spine.
Anyhoo.....as I said, excellent final installment and this most definitely calls for a threesome to work everything out. Even if it's just to work out all the pain, hurt, rage,frustration and angst that everyone seems to be feeling coz they're all being stupid and wanting a big ol' hunk-o-Cloud for themselves.
'tis called sharing people!
And even if Cloud decides to go with one of the other, or all go their seperate ways feeling better that everything is worked out and in the open....that's fine by me too.
And lastly, just a teeny typo I noticed.
'That I was nothing more than I liar'
You put I instead of a. Just thought I'd let you know....that's a typo I'm constantly cursed with myself.

As everyone else has said, a definite tip of the hat to you for the end of the second chapter. Almost spine-shivering. Definitely wanted to give Cloud a smack for that one.
A fair portion of intriuge thrown in the mix too as I wonder whats going to happen next.....and I find myself hopin, with crossed fingers that we might make it into Cloud/Reno/Vincent country.
What more can a gal ask for?

Vincent....so so sweet. Also liked the DoCness of him. Definitely opened up much more of Vincent to be explored and nice to see people doing just that. Gameplay wasn't up to much but I was beside myself over graphics and background fluff on him.

OMG CUTE!! Oh poor Vinny!! so cute and and... oh well xD please continue!!! and yes, DoC...I loved the game...probably just because it's all about Vincent xD, I liked how you managed his description, he's lithe and really beautiful and androginous,oh I'm dying to see what'll happen next!! OoO!
