I have a fic that similiar to this, a Yuffie and Yazoo pets to Vincent thing. (Property of Valentine), check it out, you might like it. :P As for your story, I'd suggest using paragraphs. One large paragraph is a pain for readers and really takes away from the story. Also, you might want to add more detail rather than jumping from one thing to the next. I love the storyline though. (Obviously, since I have one sort of like this as well. :P)
