Well anyway, you made the right choice. I think if you'd done otherwise, if it had not been a dream, it wouldn't have been as deep.
I admit the "incest" part is a bit unsettling at first, but you handled it really smartly, and you described the complexity and the "shame" of that taboo very well.
Do you plan on writing a sequel to this, though?

aaww.. incest, a game the whole family can play ( Ahem i am one to talk!) nicely written. i can almost feel clouds heartache at a love that will never be answered, i like the twist at the end. well done
