This has been exceptionally enjoyable to read. I really do like it. You manage to have some real depth to the plot while maintaining some semblence of entertainment with all these hilarious scenarios.
My favorite was the Aloof Hojo/Gum/Toilet Paper Combo-On-Shoe bit. Made me go "Ah-HA-HA!"
Anyhow, will be staying tuned for your next installment. Much love and mad props and what not. Carry on.

A rather intriguing piece of work. I am impressed by your grammar and writing skills, especially at such a site as this. It is clear that your plot has been well thought out at this point and while I know nothing of Before Crisis, I knew enough of Verdot and am enjoying the Vincent and Verdot dialogue. Your style is simply amazing and I look forward to reading more of this, especially finding out what has happened to our favorite irascible pilot. Your take on Vincent's personality is also very original and I commend you for that. The lack of suicidal thoughts and self-hatred is something that I heartily enjoyed. I patiently await your next update.
