I love this story. Please continue, I think this story captures the game well. Though... I have to ask, from what I remember of the game, the village put the myrrh in the Crystal when the caravan came back. So, Isn't this a little backwards? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, I tend to do that. Anyway, good story,love how you made the female clavat the rival of the selkie. I love a good dramatic love triangle. Keep up the good work.

Well, that was quite an enjoyable story. I hope you can find the time to continue it.

I liked most of the character interaction, though Riley, as you doubtless intended, gets on my nerves a tad. I also like that you took pains to keep her somewhat sympathetic, as when she cared for the moogle. A similar tactic was used for Cassidy: shortly after arguing to abandon the moogle, he selflessly hefts Keith to the wagon.

I would have enjoyed hearing more about their adventures in the various locales, particularly the mine. I wish we could have skipped to Cassidy and Cailean in there, as I was wondering how well they'd pull it off.

I await further developments with interest. Live long and prosper.
