Chapter 11
Vicious Winds
BOOM!
The entireity of the airship shook in mid-air as Eron made his way down a hallway from Tifa's room. He wobbled to the side, catching himself before another blow shook the ship again catching him off balance and throwing him into the wall.
"Fuck!" he cursed as his back collided with the wall, pushing himself away from the wall he ran from his spot towards the cockpit. The loud metal sounds of his feet slamming onto the floor echoed through the hallways, then became covered up by the chaos of the crew members running around assesing the damage. He burst into the cockpit, followed shortly by a shaken Tifa.
"What the hells going on?" he asked turning to look at Cid.
Cid looking pissed at the fact that his airship was once again being attacked pointed out the large windows, "just look!"
Both Eron and Tifa turned in unison, Tifa gasped and Eron's eyes narrowed at the sight, outside a large beast, purple and blue covered it's slimy scale covered body. It looked like a large crocodile, except it's tail was forked, it's fangs seemed to be bigger than Eron was. It's eyes blazed with hatred as it flew at the airship, seeming to be driven skyward by a strange mist that surrounded it.
"Hard left!" Cid yelled as he spun the wheel, his warning a little late as the entireity of the ship flew to the left side of the ship, Eron slamming into a railing, Tifa into the side of the doorway.
"Dammit!" Eron swore again, "Alright, Cid have someone take the wheel, and you and Tifa come with me, too the roof!"
With that he was gone out the door, Cid glanced at Tifa and snorted, "Now that's wha' I'm talkin' about, straight to the fight," and with that he was gone. Tifa rolled her eyes as she followed them, "Men..."

{Digging up the corpses by DevilDriver was playing while I typed this}
Eron slid to a halt on the slick metal hull of the airship, his eyes blazed as he stared up at the beast that was headed for them with rapid speed. Cid was behind him in an instant followed by a readied Tifa. The beast noticed them in an instant and threw it's head back and let out a sing-song screech. It reared back and dove at them, it's four, claw covered legs extended towards them.
Eron leapt upwards over the beast, unsheathing his sword, Cid following close behind him, Tifa on the other hand leapt backwards out of the way of the beasts attack. Tifa leapt upwards delivering an uppercut with her foot to the beast, sending it reeling backwards. Cid took advantage of the situation by driving his spear into it's belly, to which it responded by grabbing ahold of him and began slamming him into the hull.
Eron swooped down from mid-air slicing at the beast's arm and then letting loose a blast of Fire into the beast as he grabbed Cid and pushed them backwards away from the beasts grasp. He gaped at the fact that the beast was unaffected by his blast, his magic should have at least made an effect.
What the hell? Shit it's the Water beast, of course!
Suddenly the beast reared back and let loose a blast of water colliding with Eron with brutal force. He hit the hull with a loud thud, he stood shakily, his body weakened suddenly. It had to be the fire element in his body, which meant that would explain his inability to harm the beast with fire magic and his own weakness to it's abilities. Suddenly an idea sparked in his mind as Tifa helped him up, but first he'd need to get to Cid, the wind was roaring too loudly for him to yell over it.
The beast swiped again only sending out shards of ice shooting towards the trio. Eron wrapped around Tifa and his eyes glowed fiercly as his body shimmered, time slowed as he swung at each shard of ice shattering them on impact. He spun back around and nodded at Tifa as he got behind her and grabbed her hands and flipped over her swinging her upwards and shooting her towards the beast, he following close behind her. Tifa's foot landed against the beast's face as Eron landed next to Cid.
"Cid, when we're clear use the strongest Bolt spell you have in your arsenal."
With that he was after the beast as Tifa landed on it's head driving it down as Eron sped forward his body glowing brilliantly with a white haze. She flipped backwards as Eron took her punching his fist into the belly of the beast letting loose a blast of holy energy into it's gut sending it reeling. Eron jumped back as Cid's body crackled with the electric energy within him. He roared as the clouds darkened and shot down with several ferocious bolts. A thought triggered in Eron's mind as he grabbed ahold of Tifa and dragged her upwards with him. The bolts landed viciously into the beast, sending a blast of energy every direction, it's heat blasting across the hull of the ship. The beast roared as it's body jerked with electricity, it teetered from the body of the ship and floated back upwards.
Suddenly it disappeared into the mist, leaving the three of them confounded by the randomness of it. Tifa turned to Eron, "what'd you grab me for?"
Eron smirked, "metal conducts electricity, would you like to be hit by that blast?"
Tifa looked concerned, "No...good point, but I've never seen anyone let loose an electric spell that powerful, even Cid, what was up with that?"
Cid looked up, "Well since I got the Air element, I guess it'd make my spells more powerful..."
Tifa stared at him and he shrugged, "Wha? You think I'm jus' a dumbass?"
Tifa shook her head, "So what now?"
Eron glanced up with a grin, "We've gotta find the last of us."
"Where do we start?"
Eron shrugged, "I don't even know where we are..."
Cid glanced around, "I think we're near the Northern Crater."
Eron walked to the edge of the ship and looked over the edge, seeing the rising hills of snow, and the pits filled with rock and ice.
"So this is the Northern Cra-"
Suddenly a gust of wind stronger than all the others blew through over the top of the ship, sending Eron stumbling, he began to catch himself but his foot caught on a piece of ice from the beast and slipped, his body teetering over the edge of the ship. His eyes went wide as he fell, Cid roared as he leapt forward to catch him but missed, hanging over the edge of the ship watching Eron as he fell the several hundred feet towards the ground.
"NO! ERON!" Cid bellowed as he watched his lover fall.
Tifa gasped as she watched Eron disappear, her body suddenly stiff with fear.
Eron....

Blond hair covered a face as blue eyes snapped open, revealing themselves to the world. They danced around the forest around them, a dark look on it's face.
Cloud closed his eyes.
They care nothing for you
"No they do not."
They only want to be the heroes, they no long want you
The voice had never led him wrong before, and it had been saying the same thing for weeks, but now it all made sense, "Eron?"
Yes, they would rather follow him, throw you away like you're nothing all for him. He's taken your rightful place as leader and you are long forgotten.
"They really don't care do they?"
No but I do, I will always be by your side. All I ask is for your aid, your undying love.
"I will do as you want, I am loyal to you, and only you...Mother."

Golden: Since you like the idea and so do I, I will definitely do a prequel and a sequel. As for the fourth, well you'll have to find out. Sorry about no sex but I had plans for this chapter, the sex may have to wait a chapter or two, I maybe able to fit it in in the next one, but I can't be sure. I do promise it'll be good.
