Eye Of The Storm

Chapter Sixteen

Selphie and Rinoa watched them come through the gates with the prisoners. "Okay we go to B1 and that's where they'll be held." Quistis said and each was brought down. There were three different cells but had no bars. Just blocks of metal with a bed, toilet, sink and an air vent. "You're seperating us?" Seifer asked and got a punch in the back by Zell.

"Shut up peice of shit! You're lucky to get a toilet in here!" He said. Raijin and Fuijin were unchained and pushed into their cubes, their weapons of course not with them. Seifer on the other hand was not so lucky to be free of the shackles. Instead they were loosened and hooked to a chain, he was only to reach the toilet, bed and sink. 'Man, they're treating me like a murderer.' Seifer thought. "Sit tight fucker, the jail upgrade is going to take a little bit." Zell sneered and they locked the door.

The group of SeeD's came up and some were to be placed by the elevator,just in case. Cid congratulated them and told them they would recieve a special pin for their efforts. "Are you heading up Sir?" Quistis asked. "Yes, I need to get some things sorted out about our little...prisoners so to speak." He said. "You know, food and such."

With a nod they all went up, Cid, Quistis, Zell, Selphie and Rinoa. The others were off on a break now, Xu, Nida and that Gregg guy all going to their rooms. In the office of Cid's and Squall's everyone arrived. Irvine gave them a wave and Cid smiled. "Well like I said, good work everyone on this capture. It went more smoothly than I thought." Cid said. "Hey, what happened to Raijin's hand? Did it ever get bandaged?" Quistis asked. "Gregg used a Cure on him. Damn waste of a spell." Zell growled.

"Well, can't have him bleeding all over." Cid said and his eyes came to rest on Squall. "And Squall, next time you feel the urge to destroy, to to the Training Area." He said and Quistis and Zell looked confused.

"What do you mean Sir?" Quistis asked and Irvine shrugged. "Squall decided that the boys bathroom near the Infirmiary needed a facelift and ripped it to shredds. Well more like peices of peices." He said and Zell stared with big eyes. "Why did you do that Squall?" He asked. "Because I was pissed off. Got a problem with it?" Squall looked at him and Zell flew behind Quistis for protection.

"Okay, that's enough." Cid said and Squall sat down behind his own desk. "Have you been taking your medication?" Cid asked. "Yes. Why are you going to have Irvine watch me to that as well?" He said, a bite in his voice made them all flinch. "N-no. I was just curious. That's all." Cid said. "Whatever." Squall said and started going through paper work again.

"Um...Quistis, Zell and Rinoa. You three may go." Cid said and they left, mumbling. The Headmaster turned to Squall and sighed. "You have to get yourself under control Squall. You can't go around, destroying everything because you're upset." He said and Squall stood up. "Well I don't really give a flying fuck what you say. Sir." He said. Cid's, Irvine's and Selphie's eyes went to saucers.

"Young man! Y-you are walking on thin ice!" Cid warned and Squall glared. "It's your fault Cid. YOU let him back in. YOU told everyone Seifer wasn't dangerous anymore. YOU allowed this to happen!" Squall yelled. "WE tried telling you not to trust all three of them, let alone Seifer! WE knew he was always not so loyal to Garden. All YOU cared about was the fucking image of forgiveness!" Squall yelled and Cid sagged in defeat.

'He's right. I let Seifer, Raijin and Fuijin back in so Garden could seem like it forgave them. Because they were under Ultimecia's control. I thought it wouldn't hurt to allow them back. I thought maybe they weren't actually like that, but it turns ous Ultimecia just brought out that nature during the war.' Cid thought and sighed.

"I'm sorry Squall." Cid said. "That's not enough Cid. Not nearly." Squall said. "Squall, I didn't think anything like this would happen." Cid said and Squall started to the door. "I'm going to my room, I don't want to talk about this anymore. Fire me, I don't care anymore." He said and went down the elevator. "Do you think he's going to do something...destructive?" Irvine asked and Cid shook his head.

"Hyne, I hope not. I never meant for this to happen, I honestly thought Seifer and the two would be alright after Ultimecia was defeated." He said and Selphie and Irvine patted his shoulder. "We know. Alot of people thought that, but some people don't think it was entirely Ultimecia's influencing them." Irvine said. "I know. I guess everyone should just keep a look out. You two can go." Cid said and they left while the Headmaster sat at his desk.

Night came and the three in the basement had been given their meals. Squall was in his room, conteplating if he should go down and beat Seifer to a pulp. 'I bet Irvine is wondering around the halls, ready to stop me. Well I'll give Seifer a couple of days to get cozy before I attack.' Squall thought darkly.
