The next day the party headed to a nearby village to get some clues to finding the next gem. "Okay we will split up and ask around then meet back here." Tristan said. The party nodded as they split up to talk to some civilians.
"Hey old man do you know where we can find a summoning gem?" Kris asked. "Eh? What's a summoning gem? I ain't never heard of such a thing." the old man replied. "Um thanks for your time sir come on Kris lets go." Antiope said. Tristan and Soo Jin moved through the small town. "Do you know where we can find a summoning gem?" Soo Jin asked the bartender at the saloon. "Could you show me what these gems look like?" the bartender asked. Soo Jin held up her hand with the ruby ring the bartender looked at it carefully. "I heard there's a secret underground cave far to the west from here. Its rumored to be filled with treasure left by the Gods themselves." "Thank you for your information mister. How about a drink?" Tristan said. "Sure thing." He said pouring Tristan a beer. "Tristan..." "What we earned it Soo Jin. Sit down and relax for once." Soo Jin let out a sigh as she took a seat next to Tristan. Kage and Akira went and asked around to learn about a cave to the west. Aero, Dao Ming, and Galen came across an old woman inside a wagon. "Welcome the chosen ones." she greeted. "Um...The chosen ones?" Dao Ming asked. "Yes, the ones chosen by the seven clans to defeat Rossima. I am Giselle and you came here to ask me where you can find the next summoning gem?" "That's right." Aero said with a nod. "You will find the next gem in an underground cave far to the west from here." "Thank you for the information Giselle." Dao Ming said as she looked for something to give her. "I don't want your money girl, but I would like to read your fortune. I haven't read someone's fortune in years." The three of them glanced at each other. "I will read the boy first." Galen walked up cautiously and sat across from Giselle. Giselle shuffled some cards and let Galen pick three. "I see you had a hard childhood as a slave, you will fall for a lovely young girl in the near future, she'll be hard to impress at first, but in the end you will live happily that is if you defeat Rossima." "And who is this girl?" Galen asked more then intrigued. Giselle looked up at Dao Ming and Aero the two got the message leaving the wagon once they left she spoke up. "Gaze into the crystal ball Galen." Galen looked at first all he saw was his reflection before green eyes stared back at him. A young girl around his age with long blond hair in a pony tail. "This is the girl you will fall hard for." "Please what is her name?" Giselle smiled "I am afraid I can't give you that information." "Why not?" "You got your work cut out for you Galen. Now send in the healer." Galen was not pleased how would he know this girl? sure he saw what she looked like, but there were several girls with blond hair and green eyes. Galen left the wagon and told Dao Ming to come in. "You my dear girl will learn more about your heritage." "My heritage?" "Yes where the healer clan came from, as for you and that mage..." "What about Aero and myself?" "Would you really like to know?" Dao Ming nodded slowly. "Very well this is what will happen between the two of you once you defeat Rossima." Dao Ming gazed into the crystal ball to see her and Aero rebuilding the temples in both the mage and healer clan followed bya celebration of some kind. "Are you trying to tell me that if we defeat Rossima then Aero and I will...." "Yes my dear this is what will become of you two. Boy did you chose a complex guy to be with. Oh not to mention Li's disapproval of it." Dao Ming opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out. She was flabbergasted to speak not that she necessarily believed this gypsy woman that could tell the future. She left the wagon Aero didn't like the look on her face it worried him. Aero went inside the wagon to speak with Giselle. "Ah the red mage, the only red mage on the main continent. You will learn about your heritage real soon the reason you're so different from the other mages." "Is that a fact?" "Yes, and you never forgave your mother for leaving you." "Look I am not interested in this it brings back too many painful memories." "You will learn why your mother left you? And you will find the plant that will cure your illness." "Is that a fact?" "Yes, you have a tough journey ahead of you." "That's not much of a surprise." "Beware the restless spirits Aero." "I'll be sure to do that thank you Giselle." Aero left the wagon to meet up with the party to head towards this underground cave. They moved through the plains fighting off glacier eyes, thieves, giants, and serpents along the way. The party came to the ruins of a village by sunset. As they moved into the ruin town Aero saw images he'd prefer not to see. Aero saw a mages being burned alive the smell of burning flesh and the cries made him fall to his knees. "Are you ok Aero?" Galen asked. Dao Ming sensed something wrong about this place it gave her an unsettling feeling, not to mention Cloaky began to growl nervously. Aero looked up to see more mages being hanged, soldiers chasing after young children as young as two and locking them up in a chamber. Tristan and Akira helped Aero up who felt sick to his stomach. As they moved further into the ruined town Aero laid eyes on Xing Ji. He bent down on his knees head down praying hard to his goddess. It was then watching Aero pray to his goddess that Dao Ming noticed the statue of her goddess Jingshen. She did a silent prayer of her own not knowing why a statue of Jingshen would be here. The party decided to set up camp for the night although Aero looked ill. "Okay tonight its Dao Ming's turn to stand guard tonight." Antiope said. The party settled down for the night Dao Ming spotted Aero standing in front of Xing Ji again. She got up and stood beside him. "This is one of the villages where the mage and healing clan originated." "I gathered that, Aero what was it you saw? I felt a restless presence in this village." "The destruction of this village a millennia ago. Things don't make sense?" "Why is it this dead language of ours I can speak and ready it clearly? Could it be I came from a village like this before ending up at the mage clan on the main continent?" Dao Ming opened her mouth to reply but realized he wasn't asking her a question. He was just thinking out loud. "Don't think too much Aero." She said before heading back to the campfire. Aero started back towards the campfire when he came across a mysterious plant. He looked at the papers Hua gave him on the plant it was the right plant. As he looked at the plant again he frowned the flowers on said plant that were the source to cure his curse were dead. He let out an aggravated sigh a smile crossed his lips maybe the plant could be found alive elsewhere. With that in mind he went back to the campsite for the night. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
