Chapter 19: Racer, Lover, Fighter, Spy
"You want something?" asked Mr. Coates as Cloud, Tifa, Barret, and Cait Sith presented themselves.
"I want to go up," Barret replied confidently.
"Like I told you before, you gotta get the boss' permission, then win the chocobo race."
"Dyne got his reasons and can't speak," Barret replied. "So, I got this instead."
"Yeah, bullshit!" retorted Mr. Coates. He then spotted the pendent.
"I want to go up," Barret repeated.
"R-right," replied Mr. Coates nervously. "Did you kill Dyne? You must've, or you'd never be holding that thing. So Dyne's dead. Maybe now, the place'll calm down a little. Dyne didn't care who anyone was."
The last sentence did it. Angrily, Barret grabbed him by the neck. "The hell do YOU know? And for the record, he's NOT dead! Not this time!"
"Not this time?" asked Mr. Coates.
"Shut up!" demanded Barret.
"R-ri-right!" stammered Mr. Coates. "I mean, no, I don't know anything. Sorry."
Barret sighed and dropped the poor ass.
"Then, will you get us outta here?" asked Cloud.
"Huh? Oh man, you guys are mistaken," replied Mr. Coates. "I already told you, there's only one way to get outta here, and that's to win the chocobo race and that's help up there, in the Gold Saucer. And only one racer can go up at a time."
"Say what!?" demanded Barret as he returned poor Mr. Coates to he former position.
"No! Really, even if you threaten me!" exclaimed Mr. Coates. "A rule's a rule. I can't change it. If I do, the whole system down here will get messed up! And I can't do that!"
Barret squeezed tighter.
Mr. Coates began to feel his life ebbing away. "Haaak! Okay, okay, I'll let one go up there. After that, he's gotta deal with Dio."
"All right then," Barret agreed as he let him go. "Cloud, you go. We'll wait down here. Hurry up an' win that Chocobo race, and get us outta here!"
"Yes, good luck, Cloud." added Cait Sith.
"Have you decided?" asked Mr. Coates. "All you need now is a manager, and to register and get a chocobo."
Just then, a blond woman in her thirties approached. "Hi," she greeted. "I happened to hear your story."
"Ester?" greeted Mr. Coates.
"I'll be your manager," she offered.
"Well, I have nothing against it," began Mr. Coates, but...this is Ester. She may look kinda funny, but there's no better manager in the races."
"That's so rude," Ester scolded. "Yeah, well, nice to meet you, Cloud."
"All right then, Cloud," agreed Mr. Coates. "I'll send you up on the elevator. Ester'll fill you in on the details."
UP TOP….
"So that's what happened," said Easter after hearing Cloud's story. "I'll talk to Dio directly. You just concentrate on the race."
At the top of the elevator, they were greeted by someone Ester appeared to know.
"You new?" he asked.
"Hi, Joe," greeted Ester.
"Hey, Ester, you're looking pretty as usual."
"Thanks," replied Ester, blushing. "Let me introduce you, Cloud. This is Joe, one of the top Chocobo Jockeys."
"Nice to meet you, Cloud," greeted Joe. "If you're with Ester, then…"
"Right!" Ester interrupted. "He's an up and coming jockey. He's only been down here for a day and already he made it up here!"
"What!?" exclaimed Joe. "Oh, I see. So what did you do down there?" He paused. " Sorry you're not supposed to ask about the past here. Pretty interesting. I have a feeling that we'll meet again. Then, until we meet again, Cloud."
Joe turned and walked away as Ester turned to Cloud.
"I'm going to check on the chocobo," Ester informed him as she walked away. "You just wait here for a while."
Two minutes later, a loud tone sounded on the intercom.
"The race will start in a few moments. Will the jockeys for the next race, please proceed the paddock."
Ester returned a moment later. "Cloud, thanks for waiting," she said. "I registered you in the next race. This is a chocobo I prepared myself. He won't lose easily. You know how to ride one?"
"You bet your ass," Cloud replied.
"Then, good luck."
LATER….
"So, can you at least tell me if he's gonna win?" requested Barret.
"Are you kidding?" replied Cait Sith. "I'm not going to spoil it for you!"
"Guys," Tifa reprimanded, "let's just watch."
Tifa, Barret, and Cait Sith were seated in the arena stands, watching as the race began.
All the jockeys took off at once. After three seconds, Barret and Cait Sith could see who was struggling in last place: Cloud.
"Motherfucker," Barret muttered.
"Hey-hey now," insisted Cait Sith. "The race isn't over yet."
"It will be for me pretty soon," Barret replied.
"Guys!" Tifa exclaimed. "Is this going to encourage him?"
Cloud could barely maintain control of the chocobo. It would run from one end of the track to another, gaining little ground. Finally, Cloud's chocobo ran forward in the proper direction, though all of the other racers we way ahead of him.
"This is fixed!" Barret exclaimed. "They were never going to let us go in the first place!"
"That did cross my mind," Tifa added as she gazed at the sky. The stars were shimmering beautifully, an alternative to the disaster on the racetrack.
And then, it happened. Cloud began to pass each racer one by one.
"Say," Barret began.
"I told you so!" Cait Sith announced.
"Shh! Don't jinx it!" Tifa hissed.
From fourth place to third. From third place to second.
"Come on! Come on!" cheered Barret.
On the race track, Cloud was only a few inches behind first place. The finish line was just a few feet in front of them.
"You can do it!" Cait Sith shouted.
At that moment, Cloud pulled ahead of the other racer and crossed the finish line.
"Yes!" exclaimed Cait Sith and Barret in unison.
On the racetrack, the chocobo victoriously bounced Cloud up and down, quite against his wishes.
"Congratulations!" said Ester. "Now you're home free!"
"Thanks," replied Cloud. "Mind if I go back to the racetrack and look for my balls?"
"You did it!" exclaimed Cait Sith.
"No big deal," insisted Cloud. "My chocobo did it, to be accurate."
"Suit yourself," replied Cait Sith.
Barret and Cait Sith made their way out of the racetrack.
"We'll all get tanked tonight," Cloud said aloud once he was alone, "and we'll get Sephiroth tomorrow. That will be the end of it." He then felt his cell phone buzz. Cautiously, he pulled it from his pocket and checked it. "Hey," he observed, "it's ten o' clock." He paused. "That's right. I remember now."
He looked in the direction of the hotel rooms, and, suddenly, he felt his mouth dry. His heart began to race as he made his way through the park.
On the door to Aerith's room, he saw an envelope. With his name on it. Cloud duly opened it to find a note inside.
"Cloud, the door's unlocked. Please come in."
Cloud did as the note had instructed him. Before him was a living area, with a window straight ahead, a bathroom to the right, and another doorway to the left. There was a love seat and a sofa, along with a television. No Aerith.
Without further ado, Cloud directed his attention to the doorway on the left. He figured that might be where Aerith was. After a brief pause, he walked to the doorway and stepped into the next room. It was a dining room. The table was set nicely, with two places with chicken on them, and a white candle lighting the dim room. He was facing a window. To the right was a hutch full of china.
Still no Aerith.
Where was she? Cloud thought to himself. Was he too late?
Then, out of the corner of his eye, Cloud noticed another doorway, to his left. It was concealed by strings of beads hanging from the ceiling. Cloud slowly walked over to them. He could not see through the beads, but another room was obviously beyond them. And he had a feeling it was his destination. Cautiously, he walked through the beads.
There was Aerith. She was facing out the window with her back turned to him. She was wearing beautiful golden earrings and a pearl necklace. She was also wearing a black tank top that quite flattered her upper half, along with a pair of very sexy black heels. Nothing else.
Upon hearing Cloud, she turned her head, revealing her beautiful eyes and perfect smile. "Don't know what to say?" she asked.
Cloud was indeed speechless. He couldn't help but gaze at the gorgeous young woman who was in love with him. He had never seen Aerith's legs before; they were perfect in every way. But he realized it was no use simply standing there. He made his way to his girlfriend, and placed his hand on her bare buttocks.
It sent chills up Aeirth's spine and gave her goosebumps. She felt fire raging through her body. She quickly turned and kissed Aerith passionately on the mouth. Their tongues met, and Cloud gently lifted Aerith a few inches off the ground. He kept his arms tight around her waist, keeping her close to him.
Upon breaking the kiss, he gently placed her on the ground. She continued to face him, with her hands placed on his shoulders, and his arms still wrapped around her waist.
"Did I keep you waiting too long?" asked Cloud.
"I've been waiting my whole life to meet somebody like you," Aerith replied. "Someone kind, someone handsome, someone passionate."
They kissed again, causing passion to rage though their bodies. When the kiss broke this time, she turned to face the window again, and positioned herself. She was ready.
Cautiously, Cloud undid his zipper and stepped behind her. His fully erect penis was now completely free, pointed directly at his companion. He then placed his hands on her hips before instinctively guiding himself forward.
And then, he felt a warm, wet, fleshy mass surrounding the tip of his penis, and he quicly realized that it was her vagina; he had entered her. Without hesitating, he pushed himself all the way in.
Aerith, her elbows on the window still, closed her eyes and let out a gasp of pleasure. She had not had sex in a long time, and the feeling of a penis inside her reawoken her libido.
Cloud began to slowly thrust in and out of her, and Aerith began to thrust her own hips backward. The feeling of her exposed buttocks against his hips began to overwhelm him, and he knew he would not last long.
Aerith began to moan as she continued to back her hips into Cloud. She was beginning to feel overwhelmed as well; it was a new experience she was sharing with him. She moaned louder, tilting her head back and taking in every moment.
And then, Cloud could no longer contain himself; he felt a feeling in his penis that he had never felt before, and he realized her was climaxing. Moments later, he blasted his seed into her womb.
"Oohhh, Cloud!" Aerith moaned as she gripped the window sill. The walls of her vagina tightened, and she dropped her head on the sill from pleasure.
Cloud slowly withdrew from Aerith's vagina and let her recover. Moments later, Aerith stood up straight, turned around, and kissed him on the mouth hard, moaning as she did so.
"My, you're incredible!" she gasped as she flung her arms around him.
SOMEWHERE ELSE….
Bestla lay naked on her stomach in her Costa del Sol hotel. A masseuse tended to her body. He tended her shoulders. Her arms. Her legs. Her buttocks. She was in heaven. Tomorrow, she would resume her search for Sephiroth. But for now, she was in paradise.
ELSEWHERE….
Tifa was curled up in the fetal position, sobbing. She was certain Cloud was with Aerith now, asleep in her arms. She almost wanted to smack herself in the face for not telling him. But she had been too shy. And now, she had paid the price. She was alone.
She felt she would always be alone.
MEANWHILE…
Cloud had finished his last bite of the chicken as Aerith did the same. She was sitting across from him. They were still dressed as they had been when Cloud first entered the room, but the fact that he could only see Aerith from the waist up somewhat defeated the purpose.
Aerith suddenly giggled.
"What's up?" asked Cloud.
"I guess this makes you my boyfriend," she replied. With that, she got up, giving Cloud a view of all her glory, and made her way into the bedroom.
He noticed that her vagina was completely shaved. It was the first time he had seen on belonging to a girl in his age group, and wondered if other girls did the same
"Hold on!" Cloud pleaded as he got up out of his seat and followed her. As he passed through the beads, he could see her sitting on the bed. The side view of her legs and side buttock was a beautiful sight to him. Cloud quickly made his way over to the bed, lay down, and turned her to face him, planting a kiss on her mouth. He then continued to hold her in his arms, giving himself an excellent view of her bare butt in the mirror.
"How are you feeling?" he asked.
"Content," she replied happily.
"Can you sleep like that?" asked Cloud, noticing in the mirror that she still had her heels on.
"As long as I'm with you," the soprano replied as she nestled her head in his chest.
And five minutes later, she did just that.
LATER….
In the morning, Cloud was presented with a letter from Dio.
"Boy," the letter read, "if you're reading this letter, then you must have won. And won a victory that I am sure you earned. I heard about Aerith from Ester. Now that you are victorious, I promise that you and all your friends will get a full pardon, and you will all be set free. And also, by way of apology, I prepared a little gift for you to use on your journey. Sorry I couldn't be there to tell you this in person, but I'm a very busy man. Sincerely, Dio."
Cloud then felt two hands press on his shoulders from behind. He turned to see a familiar face standing behind him.
"Cloud, isn't this great?" exclaimed Aerith. "The assistant manager just stopped by and dropped off a buggy for us! Now we can go over deserts and rivers with no problem!"
Cloud looked on. She was wearing her pink dress with her red jacket again.
"What's up?" asked Aerith. "You forgot I owned this? Or does it have to do with the fact that the last time you saw me I had no clothes on?"
"I guess the latter," Cloud replied, blushing.
"Okay, Cloud," Aerith giggled. "I'll be waiting outside."
The couple kissed, and Aerith went on her way.
Cloud, meanwhile, noticed the letter continued.
"P.S. I just recently met Sephiroth. He must have a lot of fans with boys your age. Why don't you get his autograph? It seems he's headed toward the south of the river, towards Gongaga."
"Sephiroth," whispered Cloud.
"I guess this is goodbye," said Ester. "Yeah. Well, if you ever get your own chocobo, come race again. I'll take care of your registration and everything. I'll see you again.
ON THE ROAD…
The buggy glided over the road as Cloud drove. Aerith was seated next to him. Tifa, Barret, and Red XIII were in the back. Cait Sith was in the trunk. All were amazed by their progress. Soon, they would catch up to Sephiroth. Soon, they would put an end to it.
And then, Tifa suddenly had a concerned look on her face. "I think we need to stop," she said.
"We can't now," Red XIII replied. "We need to get to Sephiroth."
"Pull over," Tifa insisted. "I think it hear someone."
Cloud gave in. "Is someone there?" he asked aloud as he got out of the buggy.
No response, from either his companions nor anyone else.
Then, about a half a mile further down the road, Cloud could see Reno and Rude. He could faintly hear them speaking.
"Hey, Rude," began Reno, "who do you like?"
In response, Rude turned away, somewhat embarrassed.
"See?" gloated Tifa. "I told you guys talk about this, too!"
"What are you getting so embarrassed about?" asked Reno. "Come on? Who do you like?"
Rude hesitated for a moment. "Tifa," he finally said. "You?"
"Good Lord," Tifa muttered.
"That's a tough one," Reno answered. "But, poor Elena. She likes you."
"No, she likes Tseng," Rude insisted.
"I never knew that!" Reno said. "But Tseng likes that Ancient."
"It's so stupid!" said a familiar voice.
Cloud and Tifa turned to see Elena behind them.
"Hey guys. They always talk about who they like or don't like," Elena explained. "But Tseng is different." She took a step forward, and then stopped. "Wait a minute…ah! Oh no! They're here! They're really here!"
"Then it's time," replied Rude as he turned to notice the group.
"Don't go easy on them even though they're girls," Reno warned.
"Don't worry," assured Rude. "I'll do my job."
"Then, we're counting on you," added Elena as she ran off. "I'll report to Tseng!"
"It's been a while," Reno said to Cloud. "Payback time for what you did in Sector 7."
"Out of our way, Reno," ordered Cloud. "I don't like being taken for a fool."
"That's as far as you go," Rude added.
"Oh, really?" taunted Cloud. With that, he re-entered the buggy. Before either Turk could react, Cloud pointed the buggy at Reno and Rude and placed his foot on the gas pedal, sending it quickly into their direction. Reno and Rude leaped out of the way moments before they could be run down.
"You were saying?" Cloud called back to them.
Two miles later, Aerith asked Cloud to pull over. "We all need to talk," she said, rather sternly.
"What's wrong?" asked Cloud as he pulled the buggy to a stop.
"How could they know we were coming here?" asked Aerith.
"They followed us," Cloud replied. "But there weren't any signs of it. Then, that means…"
"One of us is a spy!" Barret declared.
"A spy!?" exclaimed Tifa. "No way!"
"I don't even want to think that there's a spy," Cloud said. "I trust everyone."
And then, Tifa noticed a rustling in the bushes. "Are they back again?"
"I got them," Cloud announced. Without thinking twice, he jumped into the bushes. And then, a throbbing pain hit him as he crashed heads with a body. He landed on the ground, on his back. His head continued to throb as he pulled himself to his feet, as did the body he hit.
"Man," muttered the girl. "I can't believe I lost."
Cloud looked at the girl. She looked to be about sixteen years old. She appeared to be from Wutai, and had one of her legs covered in a fishing net.
"You spikey-headed jerk!" she shouted. " One more time, let's go one more time!"
"Not interested," dismissed Cloud.
"Thinkin' of running away?" taunted the teen. "Stay and fight! FIGHT, I said!" She began to make punching motions. "C'mon! What's the matter? You're pretty scared of me, huh?"
"Petrified," Cloud replied sarcastically.
"Hmm, just as I thought," continued the teen. "What do you expect with my skills?"
"I expect you to fail miserably," Cloud answered. "Good luck trying."
"Good luck to you too," said the teen. "If you feel up to it, we can go another round. Later!" She began to run, but stopped about twenty feet from Cloud. "I'm really gonna leave! Really!"
Cloud quickly realized she was playing a game. "Wait a second!"
"What is it, you still have somethin' for me?"
"In a way," Cloud replied. "If you're so stealthy, are you good at tracking people down?"
"You bet!" said the teen. "So is that it? I know you want my help because I'm so good! You want me to go with you?"
"That's right," Cloud replied.
"Thought so," laughed the teen. "You put me in a spot. Hmm, what should I do?"
"Help us find a man named Sephiroth," Cloud answered. "Consider it a bounty.
"But if you want me that bad, I can't refuse. All right! I'll go with you!"
"Let's hurry on," insisted Cloud as he turned and walked away.
"Huh? Hey!" exclaimed the teen as she ran after him. "Wait! I haven't even told you my name!" At that moment, the teen found herself surrounded by Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII, and Cait Sith. "Look's like I've joined a big party," she decided. "I'm Yuffie. Good to meetcha!"
