Warped Perspective Part 2

Chapter 2

They find Cloud has vanished for a while. Cloud is later seen again in town, in a local restaurant . They were sitting down eating, when they hear Cloud make an order.

Zackery, “Umm, okay. . . We can go up and ask him to accompany us?”

Chancey, “But . . . .”

Zackery, “I know. What can it hurt?”
y way walk over and sit down at Cloud’s table. He just got his food and is ignoring them.

Zackery, “I think we better talk.”

Cloud swallows his food before answering, “You again? You definitely don’t have a life.”

Chancey, “We want you to come with us..... So we can help you.”

Cloud looks puzzled, “I need help?”

Zackery, “Yes and we are here to take you to some friends who can heal you.”

Cloud, “I don’t need to be healed.”

Zackery, “Yes ....... you do.”

Cloud eats some more food.

Chancey, “Now, I am sure you won’t mind seeing Vincent again, right?”

Cloud, his mouth full, “Huh?”

Zackery whispers to Chancey, “Amnesia?”

Zackery, “I am Zackery and this is Chancey.”

Cloud looks at Chancey for the first time, “Well, hello hot chick. I have this room I’m renting. . .”

Chancey, sounding rather insulted, “Oh god, no way!”

Cloud gets up, “Fine, but you will be missing a good time.”

Zackery also gets up, “You’re coming with us whether you like it or not.”

Cloud, “Let me pay my bill before we continue this.”

Cloud pays the bill for his food and walks out. It is clear he has no desire to talk to them. They follow him out of town. Cloud keeps walking, ignoring them. He then stops and looks at them.

Cloud, “Geez, go away!”

Zackery, “I can’t do that.”

Cloud then draws his sword, “Fine, be that way.”

Zackery and Chancey draw their weapons and get ready to fight. Cloud charges towards them and goes past them. They then look behind them and see the monster that was about to attack them. Cloud kills it with some quick strikes.

Cloud looks at them, “You want to fight me too? “ Shrugs, “Okay.... “

He takes some swings at them. They parry them with some effort. Cloud easily parries their attacks and forces them on the defensive. Then Madnol shows up with a gun in hand.

Madnol, “Freeze pal. Unlike Zackery, I am more than willing to shoot your brains out.”

Cloud, “I just wanted to be left alone! Fine..... I’ll go with you ....... for now.”

Zackery is surprised by this, “You’re going with us?”

Cloud tosses his sword behind him, “You keep bugging me about it.”

They put him in a cage and radio Wutia.

Zackery, “We got Cloud.”

Vincent, “Anyone hurt?”

Zackery, “No. He surrendered to us.”

Vincent, “Strange. Better bring him over to Wutia.”

Zackery turn to Madnol, “Are we ready to lift off?”

Madnol, “Yeah. . . still can’t believe he gave up like that.”

They lift off and fly towards Wutia.

Madnol and Zackery get off and see Vincent.

Vincent, “So, you still have him?”

Zackery, “He is on the airship.”

Vincent, “I am going to take a look at him.”

Meanwhile, Chancey went over to check Cloud. She then heard him talking.

Cloud, “What? No kidding, hahahahaha. I can’t. . . No, I really can’t tell them. I
wish I could. . . .”

She hears him sigh.

Cloud, “Yeah, only a shadow.”

Chancey walks in, “A what?”

She for a moment thinks she sees something in the room, but puts it off as her imagination.

Cloud, “Oh, nothing. . . .”

Chancey, “Are you okay?”

Cloud, “Yeah. Hey, are you still a good kisser?”

Chancey, “Oh, you!”

She is about to leave.

Cloud, “Don’t go! Please.... it is so lonely in this room and I’m really sorry.....”

She stops when she notices Cloud looked very miserable.

Chancey, “Are you lonely?”

Cloud, “Yes, I just feel very confused..... I don’t know what I am suppose to do anymore. I don’t have anyone to turn to. I have to do something that isn’t nice. I don’t want to do it.”

Chancey gets close to his cage, “We can help you if you let us. Just give us a chance.”

As Cloud looks into her eyes, she feels a strange sensation overcome her. She realizes that he is the most handsome man and they shouldn’t be holding him in a cage. She opens the cage up and he walks out. He passionately kisses her, his right hand fondling her ass.

Cloud, “Thank you, sweet angel. I am forever in your debt.”

Chancey, “For you, anything. . . “

Cloud, “Oh, I wish! But I must escape before the others discover I am free. One last kiss for the road, my dove.”

Zackery and Vincent find Chancey asleep in the cage. They open the cage up and try to wake her up. She continues to sleep.

Zackery, “What did he do to her?”

Vincent, “She is under a spell. I am not sure how strong the spell is. She could sleep for a few minutes , few hours, or few days. She may not wake up.”

Zackery, “Damn it! Come on Chancey, wake up. . . “

Vincent, “We need to find Cloud. She is only sleeping for now, so we need to not let this distract us from his escape.”

Zackery reluctantly breaks away to help look for Cloud. Madnol and Xavier help in the search. After no luck, they return to the Highwind. Chancey is still out cold.
Zackery lays her down on a cot.

Zackery,”Chancey, wake up. . . . “

Chancey slowly comes too, “Hmm, what happened?”

Zackery, “You were found in the cage.”

Chancey, “I heard Cloud talking, but there wasn’t anyone in the room. Then he looked like he needed someone to talk to, so I went over to see if I could help. Yes. . . he put some enchantment on me. Oh no . . . . I released him from his ca

Vincent, “So, that is how he got out.”

Chancey, “ so so sorry. . . “

Zackery, “Who wants to bet he is in town somewhere?”

Madnol, “What are you talking about?”

Zackery, “Chancey, did he hit on you while you two were alone?”

Chancey blushed, “I don’t want to talk about it!”

Madnol, trying to hide a smirk, “I take that as a yes.”

Zackery, “I have some theories, but we need to find Cloud. He may still be in town
looking for some ladies. This guy seems horney!”

Madnol, “.... Okay, I know where to look. There is a place were you can get willing ladies.”
