Epilogue
“Aunt Tifa! Hurry up!” The young boy cried.
“I’m coming, I’m coming!” she answered, catching up to him and ruffling his hair. “Alright, Zurui, you know what to do.”
The boy placed a small envelope and a bushel of wisteria on the over-grown grave. The double stone shone in the sunlight, two names standing out in bright silver against the dark stone.
“I miss you Mommy.” Zurui said. He leaned down and hugged the cold granite. “I miss you Daddy.” He moved to the other stone and gave it the same treatment, then sat down in the grass next to his guardian. Tifa pulled the ten-year-old into her arms.
A fading picture sparkled in the warm rays, set in the granite headstone. A young woman with brilliant silver hair smiling warmly at the camera, being hugged from behind by a hansom young man, also with silver hair. The man was not looking at the camera. He stared at the woman in his arms. The love radiating from his expression was so pure, and strong, that it made the hearts of the picture's admirers ache. To feel such a love . . . one can only dream for a love like theirs had so obviously been.
“Aunt Tifa?” Zurui asked.
“Hm?”
“Will you tell me the story again? The one about how Mommy and Daddy defeated the bad lady and saved the world?”
Tifa smiled. “Alright.” She kissed the child’s cheek and began her story.
“Your mommy was a fighter, she was. She met your daddy in the Sleeping Forest, and boy, was he scary! But your mama-“
“She wasn’t afraid, was she Aunt Tifa?” the child asked, already knowing the answer.
“No, sweetheart. Your mommy wasn’t afraid of anything, and your daddy wasn’t as bad as he thought he was. . .”
"And I will remember you
Will you remember me
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories . . ."

(A.N. – *Whew* That was intense and I think I need some coffee and a smoke break, PRONTO! Thanks for seeing this through with me, it was a real help! I feel like I can now channel my creativity and do ANYTHING!)
