It Couldn't Be True
Waiting

Rui was lying
down on his bed staring at the ceiling while Brody and Tetsu sat on the small
couch right across from him. They were
all waiting for the news of how everyone in the garden took it, hoping the plan
was flawless and he did think it was perfect.
He had always wanted
to fuck up that bastard. Seifer had
ransacked Rui�s hometown and he lost a few friends. When Rui saw Squall Leonhart actually partner and talk to that man,
it made his blood boil. What the fuck
was he thinking? How could he be his
friend? Everyone though they were
rivals still as they got into very heated battles, but there was more to those
battles than people actually saw. It�s
like they�re not really angry at each r, ir, it�s just their...thing.
The man scowled, which
caught sight of his friends.
�What is it, man?� Big
man Brody asked, raking his long fingers through his disheveled hair as his
other hand twisted his silver staff leaning against the arm of the couch.
Rui turned and kept
the glare on his face as he fisted his hand in anger.
�What the fuck is
taking him so long!?� The two men on the couch shrugged.
�Shit,saidsaid that he
had to talk to the headmaster but he thinks that he�s going to some how get
into trouble again. Dunno how, but that�s what he said.� Tetsu slumped in the
couch and stared at Rui. �Damn, you�re a good ass actor and pain-tolerant. You
get off that way?�
Tetsu hurriedly put
his arms up to shield his face from the sudden pillow that came careening
through the air like a bullet. Once it hit, he grinned at the pissed off scowl
on his friend�s face.
�Fuck you. You
probably like that shit more than I did.� Rui retorted but Brody laughed and
snorted.
�He wasn�t the one
jacking off his enemy.�
�I liked the
humiliation on his face. I liked that he was crying and I�m going to enjoy it
even more when he sees us again.� The man on the bed sat up and glanced over at
the men he�s known since childhood. �You think that he�s going to stay after
that?�
Brody and Tetsu
glanced at each other for a moment before they shrugged their shoulders again
and turned their attention back to the blond.
�You think that he�s
going to kick our asses� well at least attempt to?� Tetsu questioned
�Naw, I don�t think so.
He probably liked that shit, fuck, Dagen did. He ripped the fucker open.� Brody
elaborated as he jumped up to his feet and pushed a fist through the air before
walking the few feet to a case of soda and opened it. �Did you see all that
blood? Seifer�s gotta be in some serious pain since we didn�t heal that shit.�
He took a sip and turned his attention back to Rui, who was sitting crossed
legged on the bed.
Tetsu shook his head.
�Squall didn�t even
give a fuck about you, did you notice that?� He asked incredulously. �He ran inside the TC and didn�t look back.�
�Dagen was pissed. I
don�t know how the fuck he thinks that guy is going to hang around us. He
probably hates us after all the major fucking trouble we got into and he had to
help deal with us and Cid definitely looks down upon us. Shit, Seifer and his
fucking posse sucked as the disciplinary committee.� Brody said as they always
caught them whenever they tried to vandalize something or pick on other
students. That was probably one of the reasons why the headmaster liked Seifer
so much.
�Yeah, but ibeenbeen
better�� Tetsu jerked his head up at Brody, silently asking for a soda that the
other man willingly picked up for him.
�We haven�t done shit
since the fucking war and I�m d asd as hell.� The man on the bed sighed.
�Yeah well if we did
something like we use to, Dagen would be pissed at us.� Tetsu motioned with his
hands at Rui.
They all missed being
badasses and not picking on people but now they had a new target and until they
never see his face again, they were going to keep up the torment and it was
only going to get worst.
There was a sudden
knock on the door and Brody, since he was up already, went to go answer it.
�Sup Dagen.� The big
man stepped aside to let the person they were all waiting for in.
�I see you all were
waiting patiently.� He noticed all pairs of eyes on him. �Well, I reported
everything to the headmaster and he wasn�t pleased the least bit. I made sure
that another board member was present and he couldn�t hide anything from them
either. They all know and are calling forward to a meeting regarding our
favorite person. They should be contacting Squall soon but what I told them was
that he went to go check up on Seifer and I took care of Rui, naturally.
�What will happen to
him, I�m not so sure but do expect severe punishment for him. As for you,�
Dagen said, turning towards Rui. �I�m not sure what will happen to you but you
will have a small warning I�m sure. Probably stay out of trouble type of thing.
Nothing too big. Though I must say, you
pulled that scene off quite well. Word is buzzing around Garden that you are
the innocent one and Seifer, well with his history and all, he�s not looking so
good.� Dagen smiled and stretched his hands above his head.
�Good job gentlemen.
Give him a day or so and you can pick on him again.�
�You think he�s going
to leave?� Tetsu asked.
�Don�t really know,
now do we? I�m just going to try to talk to Squall and work my magic.� He
grinned sudd and and they all looked wearily at him.
Brody just took a sip
of his drink and questioned, �So what exactly are you going to do to Squall?�
The dark-haired man�s
grin never faltered.
