Chapter 3
Disclaimer: I don't own Final Fantasy VII nor any of its characters/locations. If I did, do you honestly think I would be sitting here writing this stuff? Although this plot DOES belong to me along with whatever critter ends up popping out will also be mine.
Author's Comment - This one actually took longer then two hours, so I'm somewhat surprised at how it came out. Once more, I'm not sure how this will turn out.
Warning: Read chapter one for the warning. If you've read this far into it and want to flame, get a fucking life already.
Comments: You'd be surprised at how well reviews do to boost a chapt cre creation.
This chapter's dedicated to 'Riyoko' it'azinazing how a huge smiley face energizes the lazy *chuckles*
~ Chapter 3 ~
Vincent yawned as he sat back in his chair, stretching his arms and hearing his joints pop. 'It had been a good day today,' the raven-haired man mused as he gently picked up one of the special shells for the new mako guns. True, the biggest one still resided inon aon and was forbidden upon being fired ever thanks to Reeve, but still. One couldn't have enough mako weapons.
"Speaking of mako..." He muttered, lying the bullet back down and picking up Death Penalty and gazing at it almost lovingly. He hadn't used it in a while since they fought Sephiroth and even then...
Vincents thoughts were interrupted as the bell on his shop-door ringed, alerting him to customers. "Eric?" He called out, waiting for his co-worker to respond.
"Get out here you fucker."
Vincent blinked at the response and slowly rose to his feet. Obviously Eric had fled the weapons shop. Again. Vincent sighed as he grabbed Death Penalty, opening up the cartridge and popping in one of the mako bullets. Well, better to give them a test fire and see how much damage they do before handing them over to Reeve.
With his gun behind his back, Vincent silently crossed the floor that lead to the shop. Slowly peeking open the door, the gunslinger mentally groaned as he watched a silver-haired man pull one of the guns off the rack and pop-open the bullet chamber.
'Dear god,' he thought, opening the door wider and stepping through, watching the man cautiously. 'Not another clone.' For some unknown reason, a massive fad had almost appeared overnight where people dyed their hair white and walked around in leather.
It was most disturbing.
Vincent cleared his throat and was just about to speak when the man holding the gunned ned around and locked gazes with him.
It was Sephiroth.
Slowly walking towards the counter, Sephiroth put the gun on the counter before pulling another gun from behind him and placing it too on the counter.
"Let me ask you," Sephiroth began, not breaking his gaze with Vincent. "How exactly DO you get mako in a bullet, and make it in a way so that it doesn't explode on the poor gunner who's using it?"
Alarms began ringing in Vincent's head as he broke his gaze with the silver-haired man in front of him and glanced down at the two weapons. Both of them were his but he ignored the slight chill as he reached out with his clawed hand and picked up the very same gun Cloud had used this morning.
"Where did you get this?" He questioned, popping-open the gun chamber and counted the bullets. None had been used.
Sephiroth raised a silvery-eyebrow and leaned forward on the counter, almost nose to nose with Vincent.
"Why does Cloud have a gun from you?"
Vincent didn't blink and brought Death Penalty from behind his back, resting it along with Cloud's gun on the counter. He leaned forward, their lips nearly touching and purred his response. "None of your fucking business, mako."
."
Green eyes narrowed into thin slits and Sephiroth lightly brushed his lips across Vincent's cheekbone before he chuckled, his breath tickling the brunettes ear. "Either you tell me, or I play scientist with that claw of yours."
Just as Vincent was about to respond, a gasp came from the door and both men broke contact, turning to face who had just interrupted their 'conversation' and both could feel a noose wrapping around their necks.
There, standing in the doorway, was a very, VERY furious looking blonde with dirty hands and an equally dirty expression on his face.
"Cloud!"
Cloud growled as he stormed over to Sephiroth and Vincent. Glaring at them both, he picked up his gun and turned, storming towards the doorway but paused before he opened the door. Slowly turning around, Cloud locked eyes with Sephiroth before turning his gaze to Vincent.
"Vincent?"
Vincent nodded slowly.
"Yes, Cloud?"
The blonde seemed to consider what he goi going to say before he smiled sweetly.
"How do you feel about kids?"
Vincent blinked, Sephiroth groaned and Cloud kept smiling.
"Uh, err, I'm not sure..." He glanced over at Sephiroth before meeting the blondes blue gaze once more.
"Oh good!" Cloud said, clapping his hands, ignoring the danger of clapping his hands with a gun in his hand. "That means you can be the godfather for the baby!" With that, Cloud left the stunned men and headed back onto the street.
Silence filled the shop as both men stared at where the blonde had just stood. "What... exactly... is this... about a baby...?" Vincent asked, slowly turning to Sephrioth.
Crossing his arms, Sephiroth turned his gaze back to Vincent and looked him dead in the eye.
"Cloud's pregnant."
Neither man moved, nor was any sound was made as the two of them kept their gaze's locked on one another.
Vincent could feel his body slightly shaking. Starting to growl, the brunette-haired demon slowly closed his clawed hand into a fist. "You... you..."
Sephrioth raised an eyebrow at Vincent's reaction. "What? Jealous?"
"YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!"
Roars and yells filled the air of the shop as glass display cases were shattered and people passing the shop hurried on past while others started to gather around, hearing the screams and ripping of clothing.
