A hand knocked on the fine grain of the office door, stopped by a voice after three sharp raps.
“Who is it?” The voice sounded tired, not at all like its usual self. The man who had been knocking straightened a stray lock of black hair and stepped back from the door.
“Tseng, sir. I have some important news concerning the portal anomaly.”
“Come in.”
Tseng opened the door and stepped in, bowing at the sight of Heidegger comfortably seated in his office chair. “As a matter of fact, it’s also very good news, sir . . . ” he added to his earlier statement.
“Good, good,” the corpulent man said brightly, straightening in his chair. He produced from his desk a box of imported cigars from Costa del Sol and lit one indulgently. “Have one, Tseng,” he offered and pushed the box towards the young man.
“Thank you, sir.” Tseng withdrew one from the box and reached inside his pocket for the lighter he always kept at his side. “May I say, sir, that you have excellent taste?”
“You may,” Heidegger rumbled and took a long puff of his, grinning with the cigar between his teeth. “Now what’s this good news I hear, Tseng?” he inquired as he leaned forward eagerly.
“The portal brought creatures with it,” the young man said eagerly. “Four males, four females.”
“And why do you say ‘creatures’?” Heidegger was intrigued.
“Because only three of them look human. The rest of the group consists of a teenager with a monkey tail, a chef woman with an extremely long tongue, a frightfully tall woman that looks like a mouse, a little girl with a horn, and a little boy with a gigantic hat and yellow eyes that look like Mako. They’re definitely not all human.”
Heidegger mulled the descriptions over in his head, stopping when he heard the words ‘little boy’. “How old?” he asked at length.
“Who, sir?”
“The boy,” Heidegger said with undisguised interest. “How old is he?”
“Well, sir,” Tseng supplied, “Elena said he looked to be about ten at the most.” He watched supesuperior’s eyes glint with lust and smiled. “We thought he’d make a nice present for you.”
“Indeed.” Heidegger could feel his cock growing hard at the thought of his soon-to-be guest. “You deserve a promotion.”
“Actually, sir, I think Elena does.”
“Then she will receive one. When she brings him in, tell her to come to my office.” Heidegger steepled his fingers and grinned at Tseng in a predatory manner. “Now do prepare the trap, will you?”
“What will we do about the others?”
“Leave them,” Heidegger said simply. “Or fuck them, it doesn’t matter — they are of no use to me.” He turned his chair to face the windows, looking down at the Pink Heart Bar with gleaming eyes. “That will be all.”
“Very good, sir,” Tseng acknowledged and left with another bow, shutting the door behind him. Heidegger’s grin continued to widen as he sat in his chair, watching the events play forward in his head and imagining a certain young boy wrapping untrained lips around his meaty cock.
