Arden stood in the exact middle of Sapphire Avenue with a stricken expression, finally admitting to himself that he had gotten lost in the middle of one of the biggest cities in Eorzea. And things had been going so well up to that point, too…
He had taken an airship to Ul’dah for the very first time, and the feeling of freedom it had afforded him stirred his adventurer’s spirit. Of course, that wasn’t the only thing that had been stirred by the emotional journey. Y’shtola made certain to contact him just before he left Limsa Lominsa, planting a gentle kiss on his forehead before giving him a warm hug, even prolonging the embrace as though concerned about their potential time apart.
“You be safe, my dear,” murmured the miqo’te as she nuzzled against his cheek with her own. “I have my own business to take care of, but I will come find you once it’s finished. For now, just enjoy your time abroad, and savor all the new adventures you will have, alright?”
Arden was actually surprised she hadn’t tried to stop him, like so many others before her. Yet it made him very happy to know that she had faith in him and his ability, and didn’t want to disappoint her.
And yet there he was, completely at a loss, having wandered the streets for what seemed like hours with no guide and very little money to his name he could use to hire one. He didn’t regret the actual spending, though, since it allowed him to purchase stronger equipment. But still… if he couldn’t find the Adventurer’s Guild branch, he wouldn’t even have a place to sleep when night fell. And he had heard some terrible things about the refugee camp outside the city walls…
“Excuse me, young man… are you lost? Do you require assistance?”
The boy turned on the spot, his eyes falling upon a female lalafell who gazed up at him with curious green eyes. Her milky white skin shone in the sunlight, a perfect contrast to the pink turban and tunic she wore. Seeing his worried expression, she offered him her small, dainty hand with a kind smile.
“I see my guess was on point. Come with me, my dear. We will get you someplace safe.” She spoke in a measured, comforting voice filled with warmth, and the boy felt his tension vanish with the grace of her smile. “My name is Lilira. May I ask you yours?”
“Um…” The boy hesitated uncertainly for a moment before taking her hand in his, relieved at the genuine show of compassion from the blonde stranger. “I’m Arden! It’s nice to meet you, Miss Lilira.”
“The pleasure is all mine,” replied Lilira, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. “I thought you were but a lost child, but you seem like a well-outfitted adventurer…” She began to lead him out of the bazaar and along the main promenade, staying beside him as she looked at him with undisguised curiosity. “You are quite unique, aren’t you?”
“I get that a lot,” admitted Arden with a slight blush. “No one my age does what I do, but that’s why I work extra hard to pull my weight..”
“I see…” Lilira peered up at the boy with a thoughtful expression. “Where are your parents? Are they adventurers as well? Perhaps we will find them at the Quicksands if we head there—“ She felt her eyes widen as she caught the pained expression flash on his face. “Oh… Oh my. I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean…”
“It’s okay, Miss Lilira,” said Arden reassuringly. “You didn’t know. Besides, I’m kinda used to it by now.”
Lilira rubbed her chin in thought as they continued down the street, soon reaching the familiar stairs that led up towards the Quicksands. “You’re a kind soul… Well, perhaps it would be wise to consult Mistress Momodi regardless. At least you can get reoriented here and do a spot of adventuring, if that is your wish.”
“Well,” began Arden as the pair climbed the stairs, the blonde lalafell opening the door for him before he could do so himself, “I’m kinda here to do something for a friend of mine. But… I don’t really know where to go.”
“Then all the better that we came here first!” Lilira stepped toward the counter on the far side of the wide room, waving a hand to the brown-haired lalafell woman who appeared to be scribing something in a rather large tome. “Mistress Momodi! Do you have a moment? This young man requires assistance!”
The guildmistress peered up from her writing with a surprised expression, quickly closing the book and giving her visitors her undivided attention. “Oh, my! It’s quite a rare treat to see you round here!” Momodi grinned down at the other lalafell with a fond smile. “And what can I do for you this fine evening, ‘Lady Lilira’? Or is this an ‘official’ unofficial visit, per se?”
“Nothing of the sort,” replied Lilira with a giggle. “I just came across a young man who was lost in the city, and figured you might be able to provide some direction for him.” She turned to Arden, who waved bashfully from behind the merchant’s daughter, not quite sure how to act.
“Ohhh, so you’re the rising up-and-coming adventurer that old Baderon wrote me about, eh?” Momodi’s grin widened as Arden stared at her in amazement. “Aye, I got word from that sea dog that you’d be arriving today. And with a pretty important letter for a very important Sultana~” The guildmistress glanced down at Lilira, who seemed unable or unwilling to meet her gaze. “Well, unfortunately, audiences with Her Grace are over and done for today. So my advice would be for you to stay at the inn tonight and wait till tomorrow. How’s your pocket change?” she added, looking appraisingly at the boy’s brand new equipment. “I can spot you the room since you’re an acting diplomat and all, but food will be a different story.”
“L-Let it be my treat, in that case!” interjected Lilira with a nervous smile. “I don’t mind helping him out a bit more. Besides, it’s been quite a while since I’ve sampled your delicious cooking!”
“That’s okay, Miss Lilira,” said Arden with a blush. “I can just hunt some monsters really quick and—“
“I must insist, Ser Arden,” interrupted the blonde lalafell, a stubborn look crossing her youthful features. “You may be capable, but hunting monsters this late won’t guarantee that you’ll get the money for a meal before the kitchens close. If it means that much to you, you may pay me back later and we shall call it even. Is that acceptable?”
“You had best agree, Young Master Arden,” said Momodi with a grin. “I’ve known Lilira since she was in swaddling clothes, and she can be as stubborn as they come. It’s better for all concerned to just let her have her way.”
Arden laughed and acquiesced, while Lilira puffed her cheeks indignantly at her old friend. At the expense of the merchant’s daughter, the pair had a very lively dinner and made conversation throughout the evening. Mostly, it was Lilira who asked Arden many different questions, including where he had come from before arriving in Ul’dah, details regarding his training as a marauder, and stories of his adventures thus far in Eorzea. She listened with rapt attention, never taking her emerald green eyes off of the boy as he spoke, and even Momodi herself seemed interested in his tales, a fond smile gracing her freckled cheeks.
However, soon Arden began to yawn, stretching his arms above his head, drawing Lilira’s eyes toward the clock on the wall.
“Oh, it’s so late already? I completely lost track of the time!” Lilira leaped out of her seat in a sudden panic, turning to Momodi with a worried expression. “I had best be getting back before Papa— Err, before Father starts to worry!”
“Oh, I wouldn’t fret over much about old ‘Papa’,” replied Momodi with a sly wink. “I’ve already informed him you’re assisting someone, so there’s no need to get yourself in a tizzy. Why not just keep Young Master Arden company for a while?”
“Huh?” Lilira blinked in surprise at the suggestion. “I… don’t know what you—“
“Oh, please,” smirked the proprietress with a knowing look. “You haven’t taken your eyes off him since you got here, have you? Not that I can blame you for it, he’s quite the adorable specimen, that one. I must say, I wouldn’t mind a tussle or three with him myself~”
“Momodi, please!!” whispered Lilira with a bright pink blush flooding her cheeks. Despite such thoughts indeed crossing her mind, she swore not to act upon them. And yet… “Fine, I shall stay with him until he falls asleep, and not a moment longer! I have… obligations, as you well know!”
“Of course you do,” replied Momodi, still smirking. She turned to Arden, who stared numbly at the exchange, his eyes bleary after having eaten so well. “Come on then, Young Master Arden, it’s time for you to turn in for the night! Miss Lilira will show you to your room, so do be sure to have a restful stay! And I’ll be looking forward to hearing all about how things went when morning comes~”
“L-let’s go, Arden!” stammered Lilira in embarrassment, taking the boy’s hand and tugging him out of his chair. She led him around while he followed on autopilot, quickly heading upstairs and reaching their room with little effort. She opened the door and stopped in the middle of it, staring incredulously at the rather extravagant bed resting in the middle of the room, a vein pulsing in her forehead as realization dawned on her.
Did she truly send us up to the honeymoon suite? thought Lilira with a glower in her face. I swear, this goes beyond jesting… “Arden, I deeply apologize—“
“Oooh, wow, what a nice bed!” exclaimed the boy despite his tiredness, running up to it and laying down on his belly. He laughed as the mattress puffed out around him.
A little nonplussed at the boy shaking off the beginnings of his food coma, Lilira sighed as she shut the door behind her. “Arden, dear, please remove your boots, at the very least. It wouldn’t do to get sand and mud all over such a lovely bed.”
“Oh, right…” replied Arden apologetically, sitting on the edge of the bed and removing not only his shoes, but also his armor and weapon. He even went so far as to take off his tunic, which drew a startled squeak from the lalafell as her eyes focused on his many scars.
“Thats…” Lilira walked over to the boy, who had paused due to her reaction, and ran her soft little hands along the remains of a rather jagged cut that had bit into his shoulder. “…You truly are an adventurer. Or you’ve lived a far more terrible life than you’ve let on.”
“Eh, most of these are old anyway,” said Arden with a reassuring smile. “They haven’t hurt in years.”
“Yes, but…” Lilira continued to trace the length of the scar with wide eyes that shimmered with empathetic tears. “…for someone to even go through such things, even at your age… Not even Raubahn suffered as much as you…”
“Who’s that?” asked Arden, cocking his head to the side in curiosity.
“Ah!” Lilira caught herself and shook her head. “It’s nothing. I was merely thinking out loud…” She felt her heart flutter, her core growing warm, and a light ache start to permeate her pelvis as she found herself unable to look away from the boy’s bare, hairless chest. Her soft hands rested on his shoulders, feeling the youthful warmth emanating from how close he stood to her. Am I… seriously entertaining Momodi’s suggestions? It’s so wrong, but… part of me just wants to… ignore sense and simply accept these feelings in my heart… But can I even…
“Miss Lilira?” Arden peered down at her in concern, placing his hands against her small hips. “Are you okay? Do you… need a hug or something?”
The woman blushed heavily at the suggestion, realizing that it wasn’t very far at all from the truth. “I… I want… What I really want is…” She swallowed hard, her emerald eyes locked into the boy’s own sapphire orbs. “…is to… to—“
Lilira pounced on Arden and kissed him deeply on the lips, her small hands cupping his cheeks as she pushed him against the bed. She felt the boy stiffen and relax within seconds as she deepened the kiss, sliding her tongue into his mouth and gently sliding it against his own. As he sat down on the mattress behind him, she climbed on top of his lap and tossed her pink turban aside, revealing the rest of her golden hair to him before working to remove her tunic. She then broke the kiss and allowed the young boy to gasp for breath, having forgotten to breathe through the whole exchange.
“M-miss Lilira…” moaned Arden with a shiver, watching as the lalafell began to strip down while sitting in his lap. “I… Y-you wanna… cuddle with me?”
“Oh, I intend to do much more than that,” she murmured as she tossed the tunic aside, giving the boy a full view of her modest breasts and perky pink nipples against her milky skin. “Just lay back and relax, and let me take care of everything…” She started unbuckling his breeches, helping him lift his hips to allow them to slide them off more easily. She then tugged his small clothes down a bit to allow his young, throbbing boycock to bounce free of its tight enclosure, already standing at attention from the sensual kissing.
“Oh, it’s so cute! And already lalafell-sized~” observed Lilira with a giggle before reaching down to rub the stiff length in her hand, eliciting a moan from the boy. Her soft palm rubbed along the small length, feeling his warm slick precum coat the both of them. She then used her other hand to bring the boy’s head closer to her modest chest, adjusting so his lips pressed against her tiny nipple. “Go on, dear… lick it, suck it. Gently now…”
Arden did as he was instructed, his small inexperienced mouth engulfing the tiny nub and sucking lightly on the stiffening flesh. A light moan emerged from Lilira as she arched her back, her fingers continuing to glide along his stiffening shaft as her other hand grasped firmly at his dark brown hair.
“Good… very good…” breathed the lalafell hotly, petting his head as she stroked him off. “Help me with these too, would you? I can’t hold myself back any further…” She stopped rubbing his hardening erection and began to tug her own breeches and small clothes downward, feeling the boy’s hands provide added assistance as the cloth slipped down to her tiny ankles. Stepping out of them and kicking them to the floor, Lilira straddled Arden’s hips and lowered herself on top of him, her fingertips spreading her small pussy apart as it moved towards the throbbing, stiff boydick standing straight up at attention.
“Have you ever done this before, dear?” asked Lilira, her wetness dripping down to coat the boy’s shuddering shaft.
“You mean… this kind of cuddles?” asked Arden, blushing bright red. “Yeah… but not with a lalafell before…”
“Oh? Then I’m your first one? How lovely~” cooed Lilira as she lowered herself down onto the quivering boycock, letting out a loud moan as her other hand grasped firmly at his shoulder. “Nnnnghh! It’s… a good fit! Hah, I can’t… I need to move!” She began to bounce her curvy hips up and down on top of him, bending her knees as she drove his little dick back and forth inside of her. The sound of their clapping pelvises echoed throughout the room, a mix of slapping and squirting that grew more passionate as they continued.
“Haaah… Miss Lilira…!” Arden grabbed her hips with his hands and helped provide added leverage and support for her. “Your… snuggles are really… tight..!” He leaned forward and pressed his face against hers small shoulder, his hips bouncing beneath the excited lalafell on the plush, comfortable mattress as she continued to ride him. She felt so much different than Y’shtola and Merlwyb, but definitely not in a bad way. In fact, it was nice to have someone his own size to cuddle with for once.
“Hehe, well…” panted Lilira as sweat began to bead on her pale forehead, “it has been a rather long time since I have… done this, so…” She leaned in and kissed his lips again, beaming at him with intense desire. “…you might say that I really needed this right now…”
“Then… I’ll snuggle you for as long as you need…” replied the boy with a kind, empathetic look, wrapping his arms around the blonde’s shoulders and back. He kissed her this time, his inexperienced lips pressing against hers, though she quickly took the lead again and demonstrated how to do it properly. Their tongues danced in each other’s mouths as Lilira continued to bounce against Arden’s lap, the sounds of their lovemaking growing wetter and sloppier with each passing moment.
After several minutes, the lalafell abruptly pushed the young hyur back onto the bed, leaning forward and pressing her hands against his chest as her bouncing became rough and quick. Her emerald greeneyes began to roll back into her head as her pleasure started to peak, her fingers curling against his bare skin and her tongue slightly extending out of her mouth. Even Arden himself felt his pleasure building, his hands reaching up to hold onto his lover as their sweat soaked bodies kept rubbing against each other.
“Arden dear…!” cried Lilira, arching her back as she felt her climax approaching. “I’m… gonna cum…! Cum with me…! Oh, please…!”
The boy didn’t quite know what ‘cumming’ meant… until the pleasure he associated with ‘adult cuddles’ finally arrived for him yet again. His thick, heavy load shot deep inside the lalafell’s quivering pussy as her inner walls drank deeply of his ejaculating seed, eliciting a throaty groan from the blonde female as her warm, sticky honey squirted hard all over his lap. The pair clung to each other in their mutual throes of intense pleasure before Lilira collapsed heavily on top of Arden, lying still as she gasped and panted for breath. For several long moments, they laid there in silence as they struggled to recover themselves, until Lilira broke the silence with an exhausted giggle.
“That… was amazing, Arden dear…” purred the lalafell as she ran her soft hands along the boy’s sweaty chest. “You’ve been taught well… which is good. Cuddles are very serious business, you know…”
“I… I know…” Arden replied with a sleepy expression. “I… hope I helped you out… Miss Lilira…”
“Mmm…” She leaned in and gave him an affectionate peck on the lips. “More than you realize, dear. Now… go ahead and sleep. I’ll watch over you for a bit, but I will need to go back home before the sun rises. Lots of important business to do, you see.”
“Okay…” Arden smiled in understanding, though his disappointment was obvious. “Will… will I ever get to see you again?”
“Oh, I think so,” replied the lalafell with a sly smile. “But don’t say anything about this when you see me next, okay? It’s our little secret.” And Momodi’s… Or it had better be.
“Okay…” Arden repeated, closing his eyes and cuddling lightly with Lilira, who gazed upon him with adoration. “Thank you again… for helping me. And for… being my friend…”
“Of course,” purred the woman, laying her head on his chest. But I think we are quite more than just friends at this point, dear… Still, no sense in overcomplicating matters~

“It seems that you’ve had quite the ordeal since your arrival, Ser Arden,” commented Raubahn Aldynn as he looked down at the boy, a kind smile on his grizzled face. “Getting lost in this city is by no means a difficult feat. But at least you found your way to the Guild without any trouble.”
“If it wasn’t for Miss Lilira, I dunno what I would have done,” admitted Arden with a bashful smile as he held out the letter to the General. “And thank you for seeing me today. I wasn’t sure if that guard at the door would have let me in if you weren’t there…”
“Think nothing of it, lad.” Raubahn’s smile widened a bit at his words. “The guard merely takes his duty seriously, a good quality in a protector of the Sultana. Please don’t think too harshly of him.”
“Okay, that makes sense,” nodded Arden in reply, smiling back at the much larger giant of a man. “Still… I wish I could have seen Miss Lilira one last time. I really wanted to thank her for—“
“Excuse me, young man… Did you happen to say ‘Lilira’?”
Both Arden and Raubahn turned in surprise to see an elderly lalafell approaching them from around the large meeting table in the center of the room. He had short white hair, a goatee and mustache of the same hue, round spectacles, and a dapper appearance that made him look like someone of importance.
“Uh, yeah!” Arden nodded, cocking his head to the side in slight confusion. “Do you know where I can find her, mister… um…”
“Please, call me Papashan, my boy,” said the lalafell with a smile. “However, I’m afraid that I do not know where she is. I’ve been trying desperately to locate her myself, in fact. I was told she was helping out a new adventurer, but I’ve yet to hear from her since then. I’m starting to grow worried.”
“Is she lost?” asked Arden in alarm. “Should we go look for her, Mister Papashan?”
“That will not be necessary.”
All three of them turned to look at the sound of the regal, feminine voice as she approached. Another lalafell strode toward the group with an air of confidence as well as compassion, her pink dress flowing around her as she walked. Her golden hair was pulled back in twin ponytails, and the crown on her brow accentuated her green eyes perfectly. She looked between the three males with a bright and joyful smile.
“Your Grace,” bowed Raubahn respectfully, turning to Arden. “Lad, may I introduce to you Nanamo Ul Namo, the Sultana of Ul’dah. This is—“
“I’m quite well aware of this lovely young man, Raubahn,” said Nanamo, her smile widening as she looked at the boy. “Admiral Merlwyb informed me of him in a letter I received this morning. Definitely someone we should keep an eye on, don’t you agree?”
“Indeed, Your Grace. Especially given the growing tensions of late with the Black Wolf.” Raubahn rubbed his chin in thought as he read the letter, nodding to himself as he reached the end. “A remembrance may help serve to strengthen our unity as a nation. Tis a good idea the Admiral proposes.”
“Um… Y-Your Grace?” said Arden with a worried look as he glanced at the Sultana, “not to talk back or anything, but… are you sure we don’t need to look for Miss Lilira? I’d feel really bad if something happens to her.”
“Indeed, Your Grace,” agreed Papashan with narrowed eyes, a slight smirk on his face meant only for Nanamo. “It would be unbecoming if we failed to seek out such a prestigious individual, especially if her very life might be endangered. Are you certain we shouldn’t mobilize the Brass Blades, at the very least?”
“If you must know, Lady Lilira came by to see me this morning,” replied Nanamo with a cool smile. “She was quite excited, and wanted to share stories with me about this delightful young adventurer and his stories. She had to leave the city soon after for her mercantile duties, sadly. But she told me to inform you that she would definitely be keeping an ear out for news of your heroic deeds.” The Sultana smiled up at Arden, who blushed and looked away.
“Ah, okay…” Arden smiled, though still felt disappointed. “I kinda wished I could at least say goodbye to her first before I went to Gridania, but I understand. We all have jobs to do.”
“Precisely.” Papashan agreed as he turned and gave Arden, Raubahn and Nanamo a courteous bow. “Well, now that that has been settled, I have other business which demands my attention. Please excuse me.” The elderly lalafell stared meaningfully at the Sultana before he left at a brisk pace, heading to the opposite side of the meeting hall toward a large door.
“I should begin preparations for the remembrance, as well,” said Raubahn thoughtfully before nodding at Arden as well. “You did well bringing this to us, lad. Please have a safe journey to Gridania, and give the Elder Seedseer our regards.”
“Okay, I will!” said Arden with a beaming smile, bowing to Raubahn with respect as he departed.
“One moment,” called Nanamo with a gentle tone, stepping toward the boy. “Before you leave, I have something to impart to you… Lady Lilira insisted that this be passed onto you without fail, and I intend to keep that promise.”
“What is it, Your Grace?” asked Arden excitedly. “Is it a treasure of some kind, or—“
His eyes went wide as a very familiar kiss pressed against his lips, a scent he knew wafting into his young nose, the sensation of soft hands against his cheeks he remembered only too well…
Nanamo broke the kiss and smiled up at him, bright pink cheeks framing her lovely green eyes. “Come back soon, dear… I will be looking forward to hearing more of your grand adventures. And perhaps partaking in many more cuddles besides~”
