Weeks had passed since the defeat of Royal Ripeness which left Snow with very little to do. He did some light traveling but, ultimately, ended up in Academia 4XX AF. He wasn’t sure how he got there but he learned to stop asking those questions. The answers always have him a killer headache.
The city was beaming with life and lights. It reminded him of the old days in Bodhum. Everyone seemed so happy and safe. A sight he wasn’t used to seeing.
As he entered the heart of the city, he was approached by a guard. Snow definitely didn’t fit in with their population right now. He was dirty and scruffy and exhausted.
“Name?” The guard asked as he pulled out his communication device.
“Uh…Snow.” He answered. Confused, he raised an eyebrow at the guard.
“I’m going to need more than that.” The guard said harshly.
“Why? Do you guys not accept visitors here?” Snow could hear the agitation in his own tone. Flashing one of his infamous smiles at the guard, hoping to calm the growing tension between them.
“We are careful with who we let into Academia. Judging by the way you’re looking right now,” the guard motioned to Snow’s torn and filthy clothes. “You could be trouble. Name.”
“Snow Villiers. I’m not from around here…” Snow said as he ran his hand through his untamed mane.
“Follow me, Mr. Villiers.” The guard motioned for him to follow. Confused but too exhausted to ask any more questions, he did as he was told. He followed the guard to the main doors of the central building and then to another set of doors just passed the information desk. The doors slid open, revealing a dark but very digital room. “Welcome to Academia.” The guard said as he left Snow standing at the stairs.
“Uh…wait…what am I…” He turned to find the guard gone. “Right…” He said in defeat as he looked around some more.
“Snow!!” Startled by the loud voice echoing through the room, he turned around to see a familiar and friendly face greeting him.
“Well, I’ll be…Hope!” He ran up to his old friend and hugged him. Picking him up in a giant bear hug.
“Sn-Snow. Breathing. Can’t.” Hope managed to let the words escape his mouth before Snow let him go.
“Sorry. I just wasn’t expecting to see you. Things make a lot more sense now.” Snow flashed a confident smile at Hope. “So, this is all you?” He asked.
“Well, not all me. My dad helped me in the early years and so have others.” He admitted with great
pride. “We needed a safe place. One where people didn’t need to fear the beasts that kept spawning. So we designed, and eventually built, Academia.”
“You did a good job, kid. This is the safest place I’ve seen since I left New Bodhum.” He laughed as he sat down in the nearest chair. He had no idea how much time had passed for him. A year? Maybe more?
“Thanks. Come with me.” A smile formed on Hope’s face as he motioned for Snow to follow. They
walked off the main floor to a small hallway off the main entrance. Leading them to a highly
secured door. Hope swiped his card at the keypad and the door hissed as it unlocked.
Once they entered the room, the lights turned on automatically. Revealing a modestly decorated loft. A rather large TV was docked on the wall in front of the couch. A tablet sat on the coffee table in front of it.
The walls were white. Very white. The floors were mostly hardwood but had a white area rug in the
living room and a light blue area rug under the bed. Which sat almost directly behind the living area. Glass fogged walls with dark brown curtains on either side of the glass, easily drawn to provide maximum darkness for sleeping.
The kitchen was all stainless steel. The first thing Snow did was go to the fridge. Which was filled with food and drinks. A huge smile over came him.
“Go ahead.” Hope laughed as he crossed his arms. Watching his deer friend devour anything and
everything like he hadn’t eaten in years. “You can stay as long as you wish to.” Hope advised him as he sat at the bar stool facing Snow.
“Wait, really?” He asked with a mouth full of food.
“Of course. You saved Fang and Vanille, Snow. You’ve saved dozens of other lives during your journey which led you here. You’re allowed to take a break.” Hope’s eyes grew darker at the mention of Fang and Vanille.
“I didn’t do that alone.” Snow admitted as he cracked open a beer and took a huge chug from it.
“I know. Serah and Noel helped but, if you hadn’t been there for that first fight, the giant flan would
have destroyed the pillar. I saw it happen.” The flashes shook him to his core. “I watched the pillar
crumble. It was…awful. You distracted the beast just long enough for them to get there with the artifact which changed the course of the future.” Hope’s eyes returned back to the hopeful young man that greeted him not moments before the mention of what could have been.
“I had no idea…” Snow admitted as he removed his torn up black jacket. Revealing his also torn up red v-neck t-shirt.
“You…look rough.” Hope joked as his eyes glanced over the discarded jacket.
“Yeah well. I didn’t have a lot of time to go clothes shopping.” Snow joked as he threw a piece of
chocolate at Hope.
“I’ll set things up for you to do tomorrow. Until then, there are clean pajamas in the dresser and the
shower is just off the bedroom to the right. Take one. You smell like rotting behemoth.” Hope pointed to the bathroom as he left the loft.
Snow crinkled his nose in disbelief, grabbing his shirt and soon realizing what Hope said was completely accurate. He smelled like death.
He removed his torn up clothing and tossed them to the side. Looking at himself in the mirror, his chest still had scars from his first serious encounter with Royal Ripeness. The scars Lightning tried to heal but, due to the severity, couldn’t.
His hair…yikes. His hair looked awful. He was no barber, though. So he decided to leave it alone for now. He could, however, shave off his untamed blonde beard. Which he happily did before turning to the shower.
“A hot shower is the most exciting thing that’s happening to me tonight and I’m okay with that.” He
laughed to himself as he adjusted the water and turned the shower head on.
After his long, well deserved shower had come to an end he reached out for the plush white towel that hung on the rack next to him. Wrapping it around his waist he exited the bathroom and headed for the bed. He didn’t even have energy to put pajamas on. He just wanted to rest.
He got comfortable and, almost instantly, his eyes grew heavy. Sending him into maybe the deepest slumber he had ever fallen into. His entire body was relaxed and happy. His poorly healed ribs didn’t hurt. He…was safe. For now.
A familiar scent filled his nostrils, causing him to open his eyes. Confused at his surroundings, he thought he had dreamed of his arrival in Academia.
He was in the pond. In Sunleth Waterscape. Only this time, he didn’t hear the roars of the beast he helped defeat in the distance. He looked around for answers. It was when he stood up in the water and turned around that he found them.
Lightning.
Joy filled his body. Only to be overcome with the anger he buried after finding out she enlisted Serah for this dangerous adventure without telling him.
“Before you say anything,” She said, keeping her back to him. “I didn’t have a choice. She and Noel…”
“Have a connection. A connection that could defeat Caius. I know. I felt it.” His anger fled him as he stood still waist deep in the water.
“I wanted to tell you but I knew you’d try to stop her.” She admitted with a heavy heart. “She had to
go.” Her voice got smaller as she turned to him. Soon realizing that the only thing covering him was the water. Just high enough to reveal the V-shape muscle form along his hips. She felt her cheeks redden.
He could sense that she felt uncomfortable so he lowered himself in the water, revealing only his toned chest and higher.
“Eh. Sorry. I fell asleep after I got out of the shower. I didn’t have the energy to get dressed.” He
nervously ran his hand through his spikey hair.
“Leave it up to you to just plop in Hope’s guest bed naked.” She joked as she sat at the edge of the pond, dipping her toes into the water.
“You see everything, don’t you?” He joked as he splashed her.
“Mostly, yes. Some times, I have to turn away from everyone and try to fill my void another way. It’s easy to get lost in the darkness. Too easy.” She admitted.
“Well, what makes you turn away?” He asked curiously as he floated his arms beside him. Studying her every feature.
“Serah in danger. Knowing I can’t help her. Hope being overwhelmed with work and having no time for a social life or him getting mad at one of his carefully thought out plans failing.” Her eyes met his, silence filled the air. “You alone. In danger. Asking for me to appear during your loneliest days.”
“Aw, c’mon. I didn’t have that many days like that.” He said nervously. “But…” His tone changed to
something softer, “I did miss you, Light.”
“I know. I caught a few shows.” She joked as she playfully kicked water at him.
“Shows? What do you-“ His eyes widened. “Ohhh nooo.” He buried his face in his hands out of pure embarrassment.
“Yeah.” She chuckled. She couldn’t help it. Seeing him so uncomfortable made her laugh.
“I’m…so sorry.” He apologized, his face still covered.
“Don’t be. It was…” She paused for a moment, searching for the accurate word. “Flattering.”
“Seriously? Why?” His hands fell from his face, his eyebrow raised. “How was me being caught up in a…lonely…moment flattering?” He asked.
“I don’t know.” She shrugged as she looked down at her partially submerged legs. “I’ve never been the subject of a man’s fantasy before. It was…flattering.”
“Uh. That’s not true. You were the subject of a lot of men’s fantasies back on Cocoon.” He laughed. Completely taken back by the fact that she had no idea how many people were attracted to her.
“I was not! People hated me. They didn’t fantasize about me.” She frowned at him and shook her head.
“Uh no. You are incorrect, my beautiful friend. Almost every man our age, even some women, fantasized about the mysterious Lightning Farron.” He slowly swam closer to her. Like a beast to its pray. “Or, at the very least, before I met Serah…” His sentenced trailer off the moment he felt her smooth leg touch his bare chest. “I definitely fantasized about you.” His hand carefully grasped her foot and began to massage it. Pressing himself against her more.
“Snow…this can’t keep happening.” She whispered but found herself paralyzed. She didn’t want to
move. His touch drove her inches from the edge of bliss. Nobody had ever made her feel like they
before.
“Why not? If you’re worried about Serah…I’m pretty sure she has moved on from me and I’m okay with that. Noel is better for her. He brings out her strengths...where I buried them. Always seeing her as a breakable doll instead of the warrior her sister raised her to be.” His hand had moved to her calf. He could feel how tense she was.
“I know but…This isn’t even real, Snow. This is all in your dreams. I’m not even on the same plain as you.” She looked over her shoulder, resting her chin on it. Feeling the coldness of her armor against her skin.
“Maybe not but…” His hand wandered up to her thigh, causing tiny bumps to form all over body. “It
feels real enough to me.” He adjusted himself to be positioned next to her, laying down hip to hip, he pulled her to him.
She said nothing. She took a deep breath and fell into him. Gently kissing him, she placed her leg over his almost completely visible naked lower half. She didn’t care. She needed him. Every time they touched it was like it would recharge her. “This has to be the end, Snow. I don’t have the power to do this again. Caius has drained me.”
Her words filled his heart with sadness but he knew that,if this was going to be the last time he saw her, he wasn’t going to hold back.
He reached around her hips and unbuckled her feathery shirt, throwing it to the grass behind them and almost effortlessly moving to her metal upper armor. Once he had that removed, she was laying next to him, half submerged in the pond they grew to cherish. Wearing nothing but thin fabric used to protect her from the jagged edges of her battle gear.
His hand gently ran up her exposed hip to her backside and then up to her exposed back. His eyes never left hers. Time was frozen and, for that moment, they had wished it to stay like that forever. Her hand lightly caressed his freshly trimmed face as she felt him harden beneath her bare leg that was resting on him. “Snow…” She whispered as she smiled at the realization.
“Light…” He whispered back as he closed his eyes and felt that familiar mixture of ice and heat that he grew to love forming once again. “Let’s not waste any time.” He carefully, but aggressively in the same, pulled her to him. Kissing her passionately as he grinded his large and stiff cock against her ever so soft inner thigh. Moaning as his soft lips moved to her neck. A tiny, almost inaudible moan escaped her. Only causing him to fill with even more desire.
He effortlessly laid her on her back and, as he hovered over her memorizing every inch of her, he saw her in a new light. She wasn’t just a soldier. She wasn’t just a sister or a friend. She was a woman. A woman that craved him.
Every positive emotion filled his body. It was at that moment that he discovered a small sliver of skin on her stomach peaking out from under her black top. He moved to that spot and kissed it. Slowly moving it up to reveal her pierced bellybutton. The sight drove him wild.
Her breathing had increased with every moment his lips touched her. They were cold but refreshing against her always warm skin. She raised her arms above her head, revealing more of her toned and defined stomach.
His lips moved to her slightly protruding hip bones. Kissing them as his hands ran down her legs. He smiled as she squirmed beneath him while his lips traveled back up to her pouty and full lips. She wrapped her arms around him, gently running her nails down his muscular back. Pulling his bare body into her. She moaned as she felt his cock press against her.
Her hands now tightly grasping his firm and fit backside as he reached between her legs to move the small amount of fabric covering her. Expsing her wet enterance and swollen clit.
She was beginning to lose control over herself. Her primal instincts were taking over. She bit his
shoulder which caused him to let out a loud groan as he buried his head into her pink, relaxed hair.
He slid himself against her. Slowly moving the tip of his cock up and down. The moans coming from both of them filled the air.
“Snow…please. More. I want more.” She begged him as she threw her head back against the grass.
Hearing her beg sent shivers down his spine. It wasn’t just that she was begging. It was that she was begging him. Never in a million years would he ever think this would happen but, here he was. On top of the most powerful and most beautiful woman he had ever known. Listening to her moan and beg for more. More of him.
With that thought in mind, he obliged and did what she asked. He gave her more. As he entered her, she tightened around him. Moaning louder than he had ever imagined and, he definitely imagined this moment. The thrusted himself deep inside of her. Feeling her warmth wrapped around him only made him grow harder.
They made love under the stars in their ‘spot’. Passionate and life changing love. He had never felt this way with a woman before. He didn’t need to hold back. He knew she could take his natural impulses without fear of hurting her. If he did hurt her, she would just hurt him back. He knew that and it didn’t bother him.
After what felt like a bliss filled eternity, they collapsed in each other’s arms. Panting and covered in sweat. She rested her head on his chest and could hear his heart racing. Everything she made him feel tonight made her smile. She never thought that she would be able to bring Snow Villiers to his knees, so to speak. He was the ‘It Boy’ from her old life. He could have had any woman he wanted and he probably did before he met Serah but, from all the stories she heard about him, she didn’t think any of those women could do to him what she did that night. Granted, everything she heard were just stories. She never had any solid proof but she knew she wouldn’t be able to ask him all of these questions tonight. Maybe never again. She wasn’t sure.
All she knew was that, at that moment, she forgot that she was Etro’s soldier. She forgot that she was the guardian of Valhalla. She forgot that, once she left the arms of this man she grew to care so deeply for, she would return to the loneliness that had become her normal life. She would return to fighting Caius and watching her sister fight. She return to painfully missing Snow.
“Snow…” She sat up and reached for her gear. “It’s time. I have to leave.”
“Just a few more minutes…” He pleaded as he propped himself up on his elbows as he watched her get dressed. “I’m sure we could get one more round in.” He joked as he pulled her to his lap and kissed her jawline. “Just a few more minutes.” His warm breath sent lustful thoughts through her mind and body as she remembered that he was naked and it didn’t take much at all to excite him. Which she thoroughly enjoyed. She shook her head and straddled him, kissing him one last time before she stood.
“I can’t. My magic is getting weaker. I have to go. I’ve spent way longer here than I meant to.” She threw him a sideways smile and buckled her last clasp. “Maybe we’ll meet again. In the future. Once Caius is defeated. Maybe then Etro will let me return home.”
“I get it. Please be careful and don’t be afraid to call on me for help. Ever.” He stood next to her,
wrapping his arms around her one last time. Inhaling her natural scent. Pressing his sweaty and naked body against her.
“I won’t. You’re a hero. It’s your job to help me, isn’t it?” She placed a kiss on his chest and turned away. “Be safe, Snow.” She stood there are memorized his every muscle. His every scar. She memorized him. The time they had just spent together. Everything.
At that moment, he was thrown back into the reality she pulled him away from hours before. That was what made him realize that she really did use a lot of her magic to visit him. That had never happened before. Not that quickly.
He laid in the comfortable bed of Hope’s guest room and stared at the ceiling. It was still night time or maybe it was early morning. He wasn’t sure.
He got lost in the memory of his dream with Lightning. Everything he felt in that dream felt like it
happened in his real life. His body was still tingling from their shared climax. He could still feel the heat of her lips and the bite she left on his shoulder. The scratches she left on his back. He could still hear her. Everything felt so real.
He found himself overcome once again with exhaustion as his eyes fell heavy.
‘I don’t know if that was a dream or if it really happened but, Light, if you can hear me…you were
incredible.’ He said in his mind as he finally fell asleep.
The truth was, he didn’t know if all this had actually happened. He was utterly exhausted when he
arrived in Academia. His over stressed mind and body could have easily created the illusion that he spent the night with Lightning.
Whatever the case was, he regretting nothing.
There are more chapters coming. I decided last minute to move this story from another site to this one. One that might be a little more forgiving for the use of 'adult' content. Teehee.
I have plenty of ideas stirring. I just have to gather them. I really hope you enjoy this as much as I did!
