FFX: Jeannette's Tale

(The Receiving! Jeannette's Two Best Ladies, Together At Last)

It was a strange sensation, that it was. One moment, Jeanette didn't exist. The next, she did.

And existing was rather painful as she fell face-first onto hard stone. "Oww..." she moaned, picking herself up off the ground slowly, trying to orient herself. "Where am I?"

Last thing she could remember was... well, being sent, actually. Or something like it. Jeanette hadn't been too clear on how it was that Yuna's sending of all Aeons, Jecht, Auron, and all of Zanarkand would work, but it was clear that it had. After finally defeating Yu Yevon, Jeanette had only enough time for one goodbye kiss (not even enough for a goodbye grope!) to Lulu before Yuna had done her dance.

Which was all well and good, but it didn't really explain how it was that she was now alive again (as alive as she'd ever been, anyways...however it worked), in the middle of the Farplane's only standing spot, and in front of Lulu.

Oh, wait. Lulu!

Realizing who it was standing before her, Jeanette rushed forward to her love and squeezed her tightly. "Lulu, darling! What happened? How did I get here? It's wonderful to see you again, dear!"

Lulu hugged back, and Jeanette noticed that she was holding a staff much like Yuna's. "I'm happy to see you again, my love. Phew, I'm glad that worked! I learned the dance of Receiving from Yuna, the way Auron suggested back when we met Yunalesca. It brings back the Sent to our world."

"So now," Lulu continued, blushing slightly as she stroked Jeanette's blonde hair, "Sin is gone, and you're back, and we can live together in peace from now on."

Jeanette stepped away from her lover for a moment. "Lulu, you know I love you,but...Yunalesca..."

Lulu's eyes became serious. "You love her, too, don't you? I could tell, when we met her. If you want, ,I could bring her back, too, my lovely harem pants wearing princess!" She winked (!) and flashed Jeannette a sexy grin. Not bad for a goth sorceress in love.

"Oh, Lulu, darling, could you?" Jeanette asked hopefully. "I want to live with you and her both forever,is that okay?"

Lulu was quiet for a moment, then nodded. "I love you, Jeanette. And I must admit, I really liked Yunalesca for what time we knew her. If you want to be with us both, that's okay, then. I'm sure I can eventually love her, too."

So Lulu did the Receiving dance (while Jeanette watched mesmerized, maybe Yuna was probably impressive when she did it, but Yuna didn't have the pair of knockers that Lulu did!), and before long, the beautiful, slender, pale-haired Yunalesca lay gasping on the ground before them.

"Where... am I?" she asked, dazed. Jeanette rushed to kneel by her side while Lulu watched.

"You're alive again... uh, sort of," Jeanette said to her. Yunalesca looked up in surprise.

"How... why am I alive? I let that man kill me, end this horrible existence. Why did you bring me back to it?" she asked slowly and sadly.

Jeanette smiled and laid her hand on the woman's hunched back. "It's okay, Yunalesca. We defeated Sin forever. You can have another chance at a nice life."

This news understandably caused the barely-clad woman to stare in dumb-struck shock. She'd spent centuries under the impression it couldn't be done, after all, so even if she had died with the hope that it could happen, it was hard to believe it had.

"Now," Jeanette went on happily, "You have a whole new life ahead of you, and I was hoping you might want to spend it with me and Lulu," she finished, blushing a little.
"I feel the same way for you that I do for her, and I know that I feel love for her."

Lulu blushed adorably.

Yunalesca shook her head, her beautiful pale hair gliding as she did. "I... I have to think for a little while, Jeanette honey. I don't know, cookie, this is all very sudden."

"Why don't you come with us for now, and think it over?" Lulu suggested. I have a very large room at the inn for us to get things settled back at Guadosalam. Rikku's waiting there to see us, too!"

Yunalesca thought for a moment, and nodded. "Yes, that sounds good! It will be strange to think of how to live for myself after so many years of sorrow. Thank you so much for this release from that!"

Jeanette and Yunalesca turned to leave, but Lulu stayed. Jeanette raised her eyebrow.

"I have one more thing to do here, love," Lulu answered, smiling secretly. "I'll be with you soon."

"Okay, but don't be too long, darling!" Jeanette said flirtatiously, and she and one of her loves left for the inn.
