Reno stood against the wall in Rufus office. He was bored. All day long Rufus had talked with some high ranking people about reoppening ShinRa.
Not that he didn't listen to what was said. No, Reno wasn't that stupid.
He didn't get this far without knowing what happened around him. He was a TURK for heavens sake. Most people underestimated him. He knew that, but that was exactly what he tried to do.
Let people think he was a little, stupid kid who was always carefree and you find out the most interessting things about them. It was also kind of helpfull in fights. They couldn't guess what kind of fighter he was and that gave him an advantage.

'No, not always...' Reno thought. 'One man knew exactly what kind of fighter I am...'

Reno chuckled quietly. Yes, one man had shown him quickly where he could shove his attitude.
Cloud Strife couldn't be lulled with such things. He was an Ex-Soldier, even if it was just in his head he knew all the tricks you could learn in Soldier-training, and he knew how to fight like one, too.
Reno had still hurt a week later...

„...So, I think it is clear that we need ShinRa back in business. But it's also clear that we need back Soldier's. And we all know, there is only one person left who knows all the grasps. So I would say let's contact him and make an offer he can't refuse.“

Reno listened more closely as he heard the last part. He knew about who Rufus was talking.

Cloud Strife was the best person for this, that was logical, but he didn't think that Cloud would do it.

He just had to fight against Sephiroth, again, and won, again, was almost killed, again, and brought back to life, again...
Reno thought that Cloud must be happy to be left alone. Not, that Reno didn't wish to see Cloud again. No, he would almost give his left lung to see him again.

You see, Reno was kind of attracted to Cloud. I mean, who wouldn't be?
That guy was gorgeous. Blond hair, that resist gravity, blur eyes, that shone with mako, a lithe body that had muscles in all the right places, a strength that was legendary and a mouth that could smirk like no other...

Reno shuddered as he thought about this mouth. He often wondered what it would feel like to have it wraped around his sex...

„Reno! I want you to find out where Strife lives and what he his doing, now. When you found him, tell him I want to speak to him as soon as possible.“

Reno stood straight as Rufus talked to him. His mako enhanced green eyes zoomed in on Rufus face.

„Yes Sir, boss!“

With that the new Turkleader turned around and walked out of the room to go and find the blond of his wetdreams...

Cloud felt the wind breeze through his hair as he drove through Midgar on Fenrir.
He was at peace at last. The last few weeks had been hard for him.Why?
It's kind of hard to fight against your ex-friend even if said ex-friend is absolutly mad!
Cloud had lost everything in the end. Yes, he had friends, yes the kids loved him but he wasn't born to raise children or to deliver packets to other people.

He was a Ex-Soldier, damnit...
Yes, Cloud knew that now. He may not have made it when Zack was still around but he had learned a lot since then.
He was the only one who could defeat Sephiroth. And he knew that there was nobody who could defeat him. At least at this moment.

He sure didn't want to sound arrogant but it was the truth...

But that was why he was in a stupid situation. He was bored out of his skull. There weren't any monsters at the moment. No one could hold out against him... Well, that wasn't entirely true.
Vincent was a really good fighter but Vince couldn't fight till full potential. He would morph into chaos and that hurt Vincent...

But all that didn't help Cloud in the least.

The other problem? Tifa!

He liked her, sure, but he wasn't in love with her. Man, he wasn't even interested in her that way.
She was like an annoying little sister, nothing more. He hated it whenever she would behave as if she was his wife. Even Denzel had said that it was annoying the way she behaved.

That was why he would often escape and drive through Midgar.

He knew that Tifa didn't know or understand why he wasn't interested. He guessed it was loggical, why she had such problems.

She was a pretty woman, that was true, he just wasn't interested in woman, period. Okay, Aerith had been an exception. But that had partly been because of his Zack personage. He knew that Zack had loved her. And Zacks feelings had been his feelings, too.

But that didn't change that he just wasn't into women. He had found out this little fact when he had been a regular. Because of his feminine looks many guys had come to him and somewhere along the lines he had said yes.

He loved the sex with guys. It didn't matter if he toped or bottomed, both was great...


His thoughts scattered as 7Heaven came into view. He was „home“...


He dismounted Fenrir and walked into the cool bar.

„Hey, I am back...“

Cloud didn't spoke further because he saw a redhead sitting at the bar.
He would recognize this redhead everywhere.

Reno turned around when he heard the voice at the door.
His breath caught in his throat as he saw Cloud standing there.

His blond hair messies than normaly, his eyes shining because of the mako, his body gleaming because of the sweat...

Cloud still wore his black and blue outfit. But the shoulderarmor was gone. He looked casualy that way.

'Man, this man is hot...' Reno's thought were steadily falling into the gutter...

Cloud had to say that Reno looked good. He still wore his normaly Turk outfit and still those sunglasses but he looked better. Not so... stressed?

Cloud always thought that the redhead was hot. He wouldn't mind to tumble with him in bed...

Cloud shook himself out of this thoughts. Reno was here because he had a reason. He hadn't shown himself since the day Cloud defeated Sephiroth...

„Oh, hey Reno. What do you want?“

Reno shook himself out of his thoughts. That had to wait till later. Work before pleasure...

„Well, who do we got here? Hero himself! How have you been? Defated any monsters lately? Rescued any damsel in disstress?“

Cloud smirked that was sooo Reno...

„Well, now that you mention it... No, alas not. Heroes aren't needed at the moment.“

Reno laughed out loud. Cloud had changed... He wasn't so uptide anymore... Reno liked it. That could mean some serious fun...

„Maybe, maybe not. Listen, Rufus needs you. He wanted to talk to you. Said it was urgent.“

Cloud was going to answer as Tifa came in.

„Ah Cloud, you're back. Where have you been. I worried about you. You should say where you are going...“

Cloud rolled his eyes as Tifa began her typical tirade.

Reno chocked as he saw the way Tifa latched on Cloud's arm. She behaved as if Cloud was her husband...

„Listen if I am bothering or something I will be going. I just come back later then we can talk more about this.“

Reno made to stand up as Cloud spoke up.

„No, no. It's ok, Reno. I will come with you. I want to know what Rufus wants.“

With that he squirmed out of Tifa's embrace and made for the door.
Reno had to repress that bubbled up when he saw the face Tifa made. Man, Cloud sure didn't have much to say here.

„Okay,let's go.“

And both men walked out of the bar fast...

„Man, she is annoying!“

Cloud was blushing. He couldn't change that. Tifa was annoying him more and more.

„Well, she is in love with you, yo!“

„I know that, Reno. But that doesn't mean that I am in love with her!“

Cloud mounted his bike and looked over to Reno.

„Do you want to ride with me or do you have your own ride?“

Reno looked at Cloud on his bike. He would gladly ride with him.

„I ride with you!“

And Reno jumped up behind Cloud. He wound his arms around Cloud's waist.

„Hold on tight!“

With that Cloud started his bike and drove towards ShinRas new office...
