The Part-Time Job
This was kinda a story on an impulse.. Review if you like it, ignore it if you don't...Its simple
“Hmm…So this is Sector 6…”
Cloud looked around the area curiously. It was so colorful and bright and there were shops everywhere. Unfortunately Cloud found that the allure of Midgar was quickly draining his meager funds and he needed to find a part-time job desperately. He overheard that many Shinra employees spend a lot of money in Sector 6 and he was hoping to be on the receiving end.
“Hey you, want to earn some cash?”
“Are you talking to me?” Cloud couldn’t believe it. He got a job offer by simply walking around! “Wow thanks!”
“How old are you?”
“Um…I’m 15, Sir…” Maybe he should have lied. Cloud didn’t know Midgar labor laws…
“Ok, from now on you’re 18 if anyone asks; follow me,” the stranger motioned for Cloud to come. There was a small alley that Cloud was led through that ended at a brightly-lit building that was labeled, “Honeybee Inn.”
“An inn? I guess that’s okay. I used to help out in the inn in Nibelheim”
“Oh, you have experience? That’s good. Go in the room in the back and the girls will help you out.”
“The girls? Okay…” Cloud decided not to screw-up his chances of employment and headed toward what looked like a dressing room.
“Oh… He’s so cute! Marianne, it looks like we have a new apprentice!” A heavily made-up girl in a bee costume approached Cloud and sat him down at a make-up station.
“Okay, Jesse wants you on the floor ASAP so I’m gonna have to do this fast…”
“Um…What?” Cloud just sat down as the girl busily started messing with his hair and putting blush on him then she showed him an outfit that consisted of a black tanktop, bee wings, and black and orange striped shorts. Oh…This is a theme place, thought Cloud, everyone has to be dressed like bees!
“All done! Out you go!”
“Um…where?”
“Oh, the theatre room, you’ll be serving drinks and if a customer is interested in you you can take them to the room across the hall.”
Cloud quickly put on the silly clothes and stumbled over to the room the bee-girl indicated. It was a bar area with a stage and a lot of older Shinra executives.
“Hey little blondie, can you come over here?” There was a younger-looking guy with spiky black hair motioning to Cloud.
“Yes Sir? What can I do for you?”
“Are you new? I don’t think I’ve seen you here before…And I was looking for someone like you,” The man smiled at Cloud, “Name’s Zack by the way.”
Cloud tried to think about what he was supposed to do. The lady in the changing room said something about showing a customer to his room or something, “Would you like to see the room across the hall, Sir?”
“Wow, you’re eager…But I guess I wouldn’t mind being shown around by such a cutie.”
Cloud looked closely at his customer, Zack. He had golden brown eyes that were staring intensely into his, “Um..Okay…I guess this way please…”
The inn wasn’t like anything they had in Nibelheim. It seemed every guest had a staff member waiting on them and the rooms seemed only to be used for a short while. The room that Cloud led his customer to had a heart-shaped bed, hot tub and various…..WAIT….
“Um Zack? What are you hoping us to do in this room?”
“I was hoping you would ask….How far does 5,000 gil go?”
Cloud almost fainted. He was in a BROTHEL!!! He was stupid enough to get into skanky clothing and now was trapped in a room with a guy who was practically undressing him with his eyes and there were THINGS in the room that Cloud had no clue what they did.
“Um…Could we…reschedule?”
The blonde was shaking in fear at the grinning man in front of him, “What’s with the sudden change of heart, sweetie? You wanted to go at it just a few minutes ago…Am I that frightening?”
“Um, no…You’re very handsome and everything…But I thought this was an actual inn…You see I’m really low on money and I’m training for SOLDIER…”
The man gave a reassuring smile to Cloud, “You’re not from here are you? I can relate. I’m first class SOLDIER now but when I arrived here I was a penniless bumpkin, but not as half as cute as you are.”
“You’re SOLDIER!!??” Cloud looked at the man with some new awe, “Wow…”
“Listen kid, I understand how hard it is so how about I give you the whole 5,000 for a kiss and a promise you’ll keep working here so I can have you exclusively…”
Cloud was blushing crazily, “What?! You’ll really give me that much for one kiss?!! Thank you!” The blonde was starting to like his customer. Not only was he handsome and nice, he was SOLDIER and apparently had money.
“Hey, don’t sweat it. I expect you to pay me back later, though. However, I want my kiss now.”
“Yes, Sir…” Zack came closer to the timid blonde and ran his hands through Cloud’s messy locks.
“Mmm…You’re so cute I could eat you…Too bad I’ll have to settle for a kiss,” Zack traced Cloud’s jaw line with his fingers and tilted the blushing blonde’s chin up, “You’re so short, you sure SOLDIER’s right for you?”
The pert lips that Zack was staring at frowned slightly at the comment but he said nothing in protest. Tentatively Zack guided his lips down to the blonde’s and lightly pressed against them, he slowly moved his lips against Cloud and gave Cloud a quick lick across his bottom lip startling the blonde.
“Don’t worry, scaring you is the last thing I want to do… Cause I want to see you tomorrow night too.”
“…Okay…”
