The 61st floor
“We can’t go any higher.” Tifa frowned. “Why would you make a card for each floor?”
Zack said soothingly. “Don’t worry. We’ll find one. Someone has to be carrying one.”
Cloud looked to him. “Who?”
The ex-SOLDIER muttered. “Give a minute.”
Tifa began wandering from them, looking around the large room they found themselves in. She examined the large plant in the center as if expecting Aerith to come from behind it. She turned around to see Zack casually talking to one of the SOLDIERS.
Zack murmured in the man’s ear, so Tifa did not hear all that was said. She tapped one foot impatiently. She was there to find Aerith, not to make friends! She was glad she had not said that out loud, however, when Zack said goodbye as the man handed him a small cardkey. Zack politely waited for the man to leave before grinning over at her. Cloud snickered as they all loaded back onto the elevator.
