I Left a Cold Room

I Left a Cold Room
Like Weiss on Rice

--------------------------------------

It doesn’t mean much
It doesn’t mean anything at all
The life I’ve left behind me
Is a cold room

--------------------------------------

He remembered that day so well. When Weiss was fifteen years old, when he was thirteen. Weiss’ coming into his dark room as he always had for four long years. His brother held out his hand to him. “Nero, come live with me.” It was all he could do not to burst into tears. He knew Weiss had a choice. He knew he could’ve requested someone else but he picked him instead. No one ever chose him. No one.

He had been so afraid… afraid that his almost coldness the first few years might have deterred him. But they didn’t. “Weiss!” He took his hand and his brother smiled so sweetly then. He was so happy that he could do that for him… to make him smile like that. It’s all he ever wanted.

“I take that as a yes?”

“Yes!” Nero clutched at him.

Weiss only laughed and wrapped his arms around his little brother. “I’m glad. I was lonely.”

--------------------------------------

Nero had never been particularly tall or handsome and he was certainly not as fun or talented as his older brother. But whenever he was around his brother’s face always lit up. Always. He made Weiss happy no matter what he did, and for that he was proud of himself. Nero was forever trying to be a good younger brother for him, and while some might have considered it hard work, it was effortless in his eyes. He kept parts of himself certainly, he would never like everything Weiss liked… but he tried. Weiss did the same for him while he wasn’t paying attention and they ended up having a good time together for all of those years.

He loved him. He always wanted to be who he wanted him to be. He was so glad that no matter what he did or who he became… Weiss loved him anyway.

Weiss was strutting in front of him confidently down the hallways. His cropped, star like hair bounced as he moved. He loved that hair, loved it when it was long and loved it when it was short. It didn’t matter to him, as long as he held his head up high like he was proud of himself like old times.

Not like him though, he was never sure of himself in social situations… just when they were together did he feel completely released. He was always shy, but recently, he had been able to lift his chin a little too. He could be proud of himself as well. He had everything he wanted now. He had Weiss.

How strange their relationship was, Weiss was in charge, he always had been. As his older brother he was always looking out for his best interest. He thought at first that he might not allow him what he wanted. Especially considering what had happened to him, but he allowed him control in the bedroom. It was tremendously fun… even though neither of them looked the type. But then, in wonderful relationships there are no genders really. There is just love, understanding and passion and they shared plenty of that.

Nero had to walk a little faster. He was almost always one step behind him. Weiss was so different out in public. He was definitely more commanding that’s for sure. It was nice to know that he could cool off when they were alone together and just be himself.

He suddenly felt fingers lacing with his. He was startled at first but then he looked up and saw Weiss smiling. He was holding his hand in public! His brain threatened to short out at any moment. This wasn’t happening! This was…

Restrictor was walking by for his morning rounds. Just wonderful. Weiss was probably just holding his hand for reassurance?

But that didn’t seem like his style. He dared a look at his brother and he was smiling from ear to ear. Then he understood. He was showing off! A giggle escaped him and he looped his arm around Weiss’ to seal their show of affection. There was no way their relationship could have been misconstrued at that point. He only hoped Weiss wouldn’t be mad at him latching himself onto him like he did.

He wasn’t. In fact, he leaned down and kissed the top of his head.

Restrictor gave them a backwards glance. It had worked.

Nero was half afraid he would let go of him then, or detach Nero from his arm. That motion never came. He strode beside him like he was proud of himself and their relationship… so he should too. He didn’t think he could be happier, but he was wrong. It was nice letting everyone know how they felt about each other even though it might not be the most accepted thing to do.

It felt good to feel him, Nero realized. He missed it because it had been a month since he really got to touch him. They kept him tied down for a month before this day. They just pulled him down this morning.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

He was cooking again, like always. He was a great cook, his Weiss. Yet another thing about that some people would never have thought of him. He was Weiss, Emperor of Deep Ground. Someone probably made his meals right? No. He had to cook, his brother Nero had to clean, and they had to keep their living area nice and neat lest it get taken away from them. Then where would they be? Chained to a pillar or a chair made of stone indefinitely, that’s what.

A long time ago they called him that, Emperor. It was such a mockery of a title. He was surely the strongest solider in Deep Ground, besides Restrictor of course. He was certainly the strongest ‘subject’ as they liked to call those who were experimented on down here. But for being called the ‘Emperor’ he had no more privileges than any other ‘peasant’. If anything, his life was worse because of it. He was singled out.

Weiss didn’t mind responsibility, no, but he wanted to lead a normal life like before. He didn’t get to enjoy it for long, but he remembered. He always remembered everything. He had a life Nero knew almost nothing about.

And so, Nero sat at the table again because Weiss called him out of his room. They would be eating soon and he wanted someone to talk to or sit with him while he worked.

Nero could understand that. Things like cooking and cleaning were boring chores when there was no one around to speak with. “I thought it was nice that you held my hand today.” Nero chirped, breaking the ice.

Weiss wasn’t too far behind with a smile. One of the good ones that he liked, the kind that guaranteed his white teeth flashed and one that reached all the way up and crinkled the corners of his eyes. He missed that smile for months. He was so glad it was back on his face again. “Yeah well,” He began in his awkward way. “I guess it was time that everyone knew about us.”

“Still.” Nero couldn’t help but smile too.

“I’m glad you’re happy.” Weiss turned away and back to what he was doing. “I didn’t expect that you would grab onto my arm like that.”

“I thought it would have been fun to bother Restrictor a bit.”

“Was he there? I didn’t notice.”

What?! He didn’t see him? “How did you not notice? We walked right by him.”

“Yeah well, you distract me sometimes.” Weiss winked at him, he was just joking.

“You did see him!” Nero accused.

“Of course I did.” Weiss laughed. “But that’s not why I held your hand.” He turned his face down in mock disappointment. “Unlike you of course. Trying to make Restrictor jealous or something?”

“What are you trying to say?”

Weiss was struggling not to smile. “I’m just saying. You did like to play around back in the day. I wonder if you were thinking-”

“Weiss!” Nero yelled. “That is just awful!”

“What? I’m just teasing you.”

In all honesty, he was glad he could talk to him like this. He didn’t dance around the subject of Restrictor anymore. He seemed to be okay with it now. He even teased and tormented Restrictor… doubly since everything had happened. He was sure that awful man didn’t know what to say those times. Once Weiss said, ‘Hey there handsome.’ Restrictor just stopped and looked at him for a full five minutes. Nero would have found it amusing at the time had he not been so worried about Restrictor’s reaction to him calling him that.

“I know. I do not mind.” Nero rested his chin on one of his arms. “You can tease me all you like… because you know I love you so much.”

“Oh, I know you love me.” Weiss tittered. “But I probably shouldn’t play with you like that anyway.”

“Speaking of love.” Nero decided to take the conversation onto a different path. “I never asked… but when did you fall in love with me?” He wondered if it was the same time he did.

“I’m not sure.” Weiss smiled, giving him a glance back. He really wished the stove faced the table so he could talk to him a little easier. “But I think it was after they put those wings on you.”

When he was eleven then? He had ‘shot up’ as Weiss said. He was 5’ 4” and they calculated that he wouldn’t grow much more than that. So they decided to implant those wings on him as an experiment. They wanted to see if they could not only achieve working mechanical arms but flight as well. They entrenched them into his shoulders and tore into his back to do it. They used the excuse that both of his arms were broken at the time. So why not? He should never have taken that motorcycle and ran off with it without knowing how to drive it first. “Why during that time?”

“Because I thought you were so cute.” Weiss laughed. “When you walked through the door with those things on you… it scared the hell out of me. I thought you would be really upset about it or maybe in a lot of pain.” He was in pain when they first put them on, but he covered it up fairly well. “But all you could do was complain about them ruining that tattoo on your back. I thought that was great. You always took everything into stride.” He sipped his coffee while stirring the food around in the various pots and pans. “You really made me proud. You were very strong for your age.”

“You are very strong.” Nero pointed out.

“I don’t think so.” Weiss said a little distastefully. “I’m this way because you’re here.”

He wished he wouldn’t say stuff like that. He was strong, he was… he just didn’t know it. “Well I think you are much stronger than you give yourself credit for.”

“How’s that?”

“Well, I think when you are given something to love you are the strongest person I know. You were only two years old and you could take care of a pet. You were ten when you started feeding me. When you were fifteen you took care of the both of us…” And how many fifteen year olds could boast that they could run a household by then? Much less do all the things Weiss did on top of that?

Weiss snorted. Yes, well he was forgetting that he walked around like a zombie for weeks on end.

Nero knew what he was thinking. “Even after all that happened to you… you did not give up and die. I was really proud of you. You got around on your own. You still made dinner. Let us not forget that you stabbed that bastard… that was great.”

“It was, wasn’t it?” Weiss laughed, remembering. It had been so exciting that the two of them talked about it nonstop for the entire week. It was an amazing feeling… being able to stand up to Restrictor the way they did. “Although I think you should’ve shot him in the dick.”

“I tried but he moved.” Nero snickered and Weiss’ laughter boomed out. “But you are strong. You lived a long time before I came around.”

“Yeah,” But not like he thought.

“I know you were sad without me.” Nero smiled. “I am glad I lived. It was like we were meant to find each other again.”

“Yeah.” Weiss mused, tapping a spoon against one of the pots. “So, when did you fall in love with me?”

“Me?” Nero tittered. “I fell in love with you when you touched my hand that once.”

Weiss remembered that for the same reason. “That was nice.”

“It was. I never felt so connected to anyone. I really loved and admired you a lot.” He was his savior. His hero. No one ever loved him before. No one took care of him. It was like a dream to have someone even want to be around him… to touch him. “It made me sad when I realized it though.”

“Why’s that?”

“Because I loved you as my brother and I still do… but things changed so quickly for me. I thought it was just a phase. I did not want you to hate me.”

“I could never hate you… even if I didn’t feel the same.”

It was good to hear that. “But the feeling wouldn’t go away.”

Weiss smiled, it was strange that they could talk about things like this so openly, but it was nice too. They didn’t have that stupid crap blocking them from saying what they wanted to anymore.

“Say, Nii-san?”

“Hm?”

“What was it like… to have a normal life?”

He was wondering when he was going to ask that. He was probably old enough now to hear it. “Well, it was very different from now that’s for sure. Do you want to hear about life in general or my life when I was a kid?” He sipped his coffee and placed it back down on the counter.

“Your life.” Nero answered.

“Well, for one thing… my family and I used to come and go as we pleased. We stayed down here a lot though. Shinra paid the bills and our father worked for them.”

He didn’t know if Weiss remembered telling him about their father when he was in the infirmary. “What was our father like? What did he do?”

“He was a nice man.” Weiss said simply. “He had a very bright personality. He loved talking to people and he liked using first names, but he always was respectful of others.” He snickered. “Until he got to know them of course, than he was a dirty old man. He worked down here as a security measure. Shinra needed some of its secrets guarded. During that time they were working on more benevolent medical treatments than they are now. You would be surprised how many people broke into this building just to steal information. He was so strong… he was the only guard they needed after a while. They called him Restrictor because he ‘restricted’ access to the medical information… as well as to the scientists that worked down here. There was still human experimentation going on and many people looked down on that sort of thing even if it was for the greater good.” Weiss rolled his eyes. “I remember someone trying to kidnap me once because he thought my parents were abusing me by allowing me to be experimented upon.”

Nero smiled, it was nice hearing about this from Weiss. “Do you think they were wrong for doing that?”

“I don’t think they were intentionally trying to harm me if that answers your question. Our mother and father had a lot of the same procedures done on themselves. They believed it was completely safe.” Weiss did have to admit that it kind of aggravating having a photographic memory from when he was younger. They had no way of knowing his life would be a living hell though.

“What did father look like?”

Father, Weiss almost smiled at that. He had called him ‘daddy’ a long time ago. He wondered what Nero would have called him if they were still alive. It crossed his mind that he wouldn’t sound the same either. He wouldn’t have that accent. “Sort of like me with a horrible looking mustache.” Weiss laughed, remembering how bushy it was. It tickled like crazy if he kissed his forehead. His mother hated it, she said it tickled her too… but he hoped it was just for kisses now that he thought of it. Umm… “He looked a little rougher than me in the face. He looked really mean actually. I think that’s why he had the mustache. He would put some wax or something on the edges and turned it up. It made him look like he was smiling even when he wasn’t.” Weiss smiled at that. “I did get some of mom’s features I suppose. I can smile a lot easier than he could and I don’t look as grouchy.”

“I see.” Nero smiled. “What was mother like then?”

“She was a very nice lady. She was quiet and kind. I don’t even know why she liked our dad… he was a pervert.” He laughed.

Thanks Weiss… you are talking about me I’ll have you know. “What else?”

“She loved all of her kids. She loved me and Gen the most of course.” He grinned back at Nero and his little brother giggled. “Did you know he was almost twenty when I was born?”

Nero’s eyes widened a bit. No he hadn’t known that! “Were our parents very old?”

“Hmm, I never thought of it. They always looked very young. Let’s see, I know mom had Genesis when she was sixteen.”

“Sixteen?!”

“She and dad got married young. Mom said it was typical for their village to do that. She was fourteen and dad when fifteen when they got married.”

That was bizarre! His mother had a child at the age of sixteen. He was sixteen himself! He couldn’t imagine having a baby with someone!

“So I guess that would have made her thirty-six when I was born… thirty-seven when our sisters were born and then thirty-eight when you were born.”

“They were rather busy.”

“Our sisters and I were of her choice.” He really didn’t want to tell him this. “You weren’t.” He looked at him, trying to read his expression.

“It is alright Nii-san.” Nero smiled. “It does not make me upset.”

Weiss smiled at his understanding. “It’s not that she didn’t want you though. She just didn’t want to bring someone else into this dump.” He grumbled. “They took our sisters away. I really hated them for that. They’re down in one of the labs in those stasis tubes. One of the same they put Genesis in. They’re probably brain dead though if they’ve never had a chance to think on their own.”

“What did they look like? Do you remember?”

“One had white hair and eyes like mine. The other had dark hair and blue eyes.” The rest of the food was almost finished. Weiss dumped some rice into the water he had started boiling previously before shutting a lid over the top. “Mom was really devastated about losing them.”

“What about father?”

“He was really upset of course. We didn’t get to see him much though.” He seemed a little uncomfortable then. “I think they wanted to start breeding our parents out. Apparently the village they came from had some ‘good blood’ in it or something. They wanted to get more test subjects out of them.”

And their father had worked for them too, trusted them. “Bastards.”

“Yeah, you were the only one they got out of the deal.”

“And they consider me a failure.” Nero mumbled.

“Only because they tried to warp you.” Weiss explained. “If they had just performed the same procedures on you that they did me we would be very similar I think. They were trying out new things. They tried making several of ‘you’ from other parents… only mom was able to carry you full term and have you.” He was told it was a miracle that Nero even came into the world. Because he heard that over and over it was so easy to believe that Nero had died. “But you’re not a failure. You’ve shown everyone that you can handle yourself.”

He wasn’t so sure about that. “I suppose.”

“You can.” Weiss wanted to tell him something else, he hoped he was ready. “You know Vivian?”

“Yeah.”

“She came from the same village our father was from. She knew them for a long time. They started work around the same time I was told.”

“Why are you telling me this?” She had nothing to do with their family did she?

“She’s a strong lady.” He laughed nervously. “You wouldn’t think it by looking at her, but she is amazing. Dad said lots of nice things about her. The two of them were in the kendo club together. He just decided to pursue more physical activities and she medicinal.”

“I see.” Nero nodded. It was interesting that she had never mentioned their father before. They sounded rather close.

This would be awkward. “She’s Restrictor’s mother.”

Nero choked. “Are you sure?”

“Mm hm. No one thinks I know, but I do. I could remember. She knows I know too.”

“Why is she so nice to us?” Surely she knew how much they disliked him. He remembered going to her several times as a child and complaining vehemently about him.

“She doesn’t like her son.” Weiss blew a stray hair out of his face.

“Why?”

“She just does. She doesn’t like who he is. Vivian was a very nice lady who wanted to give him another chance. She felt it was her fault that he was such a bastard growing up. Restrictor was just who he was though. She really liked our father a lot… I think when he killed him she stopped caring.”

Nero took a moment to digest that. “It is strange that Restrictor would come from the same place our parents came from.”

“Weird isn’t it?” Weiss mused.

“Why wasn’t Vivian put into the program?” He had no doubt she would have been.

“Cancer. Couldn’t have children.” Weiss explained.

He surely knew a lot. It was amazing that he never told him any of this before. Then again, Weiss was full of knowledge and facts. Was it possible that he carried around so much in his mind that he had a hard time figuring out what was important to say and what wasn’t?

Of course his brother seemed to know exactly what he was thinking. “I didn’t tell you because you probably wouldn’t have understood.” Weiss explained. “You’re still young… I know you’re more mature than you should be… but you’re a kid.”

Oh there he went! Making him sound like some whelp again! Ugh! He was only two and a half years older and Weiss acted like he was so much more grown-up than he was!

True, there were things that made Weiss more mature. He was able to recall everything even from his early childhood. He was able to learn faster because of that… which was why they tried to keep things away from him. He was brilliant and they knew it. “I am not a child!” Nero huffed.

“Hm.” Weiss turned his head and smiled mockingly before he turned back to the food he was preparing.

Was he ignoring him? “What does that look mean? I am not a kid.”

“Of course you aren’t.” Weiss teased.

Was he trying to make him sound like a whiney brat? That would be something Weiss would do. He was just going to have to prove himself again he guessed. He looked at their table. It looked sturdy enough.

“Food’s ready.” Weiss announced.

But Nero wasn’t listening to him. He was too busy looking at the table in a sullen sort of way.

Weiss decided to let him pout for a while. He’d give him a kiss in a minute and sooth him after he was done sulking. He wasn’t a kid anymore… he hadn’t been one when he was a child actually. Something about this place made people grow up quickly. You had to or you’d end up dead. Despite the fact that they were about to sit down to dinner, most everyday they were being shot at, stabbed or any number of other treatments for the name of science. It was all about how far they could push people. How to make the perfect soldiers. It was awful.

He would definitely apologize soon despite the almost overwhelming temptation to let him stew all night in order to take him down a peg or two. If Weiss learned anything, it was not to let things go until tomorrow. He remembered he had many days he wanted to wait until ‘tomorrow’ to say what he wanted to Nero. He didn’t do that anymore… because he never knew when there wouldn’t be ‘that’ tomorrow. It was a miracle that they were even together at all. He thought what happened to him would bring all sorts of bad memories back for his brother. He was lucky.

Weiss tossed a couple pot holders onto the table and put the pans down on them. Nero could feel free to grab what he wanted that way. He knew what his little brother liked and what portions more or less… but he thought he’d let him get his own today.

Nero reached for the handles and tugged the food this way and that, putting it back in front of Weiss when he was finished. He wondered if the table was sturdy enough to hold someone like Weiss. It was made out of solid wood right? He didn’t want it breaking on him… that would be terribly embarrassing. He grabbed hold of the table and gave it a shake, seeing if it would budge. He just ended up moving it back and forth. Good, it didn’t have a lot of give, and he knew it wasn’t lopsided. He stuffed his fork into his mouth and gave it a final shove.

Weiss, not keen on what he was doing chastised him. “Nero, what the hell is wrong with you? Stop shaking the table.” He knew his brother just got off of that dreadful pillar today and often went a little stir crazy when he was tied up for extended periods of time. Weiss could understand that, he hated it when they tied him to his throne. This was just a little bizarre though. He hoped he hadn’t snapped somewhere along the way and had just been acting normal until now.

Nero realized how it must have looked for him to do something like that. No doubt his brother thought he was a loony. “Sorry.”

“Are you okay?”

“I am fine.” Nero said, not really paying attention.

Was he mad at him or what? “I didn’t mean it when I said you were a kid you know?”

“I know.” Nero went on in a deadpan sort of way. He looked up at Weiss. He had eaten some of his food. Not nearly enough to fill him though. He was just looking at him curiously. The fool. He stood suddenly and jumped onto the table and crawled up to him with a smile, knocking over whatever was in his way.

Weiss was too shocked to say anything until he saw one of the pans and all its contents fall to the ground. “Nero!” He was tired of whatever he was doing already! First he was being all quiet and shaking the table and now this! He spent all that time making their dinner and he was being such a brat. When his little brother was finally in front of him he glared at him… then he wondered why Nero suddenly reminded him of some dark spider ready to pounce on him.

Nero did. He jumped right into his lap and knocked over Weiss’ plate. It was all he could do at this point not to knock him to the floor and lock him out of their room tonight. “Oh Weiss…”

“Get off of me…”

“You don’t mean that.”

“Want to try me?” Weiss glared daggers at him. Nero only smiled at him which only made him angrier… until he placed his lips on his and then he forgot for just a minute that he was mad at him. Well… maybe five… or ten… who was keeping track anyway? He was kissing him in some frantic way he wasn’t used to since they were first together. He seemed to be incorporating his whole body into it, his lips sealing his as he rubbed himself against him torturously.

Weiss was still wearing that dark shirt, it was still cold out after all. The months would get warmer soon enough… maybe even three months from now and he would be going around shirtless again… how wonderful. But for now he would just have to improvise.

Nero grinned against his lips before he lowered his head and began licking and sucking the side of his neck.

Oh God! One of Nero’s hands was working itself into his pants. “Nero.” He closed his eyes when his fingers found his length and wrapped themselves around it. His other arm went around his back then and he lowered his head even further. He licked over his nipple through his shirt, bringing it to a noticeable point before he bit at it. “Oh!”

Nero felt his brother’s hands at his back since they really had nowhere else to go. His large hands roved downward until they cupped his rear and squeezed. He hated and loved that at the same time. It felt nice, but also tickled him for some strange reason.

Weiss only sighed happily at his laughter before he moaned when Nero bit just a little harder around nipple.

Nero jumped off of him like he burned him, leaving Weiss just a little dazed. He started tugging at the buckles on his clothing, shimming his suit down his hips onto to have the other black suit underneath in the way.

Weiss watched him undress with some amusement, apparently he was so frantic to get his clothing off he completely forgotten that he could remove them all at once with a thought. He supposed taking his clothes off made him feel normal though.

Nero eyed Weiss, noticing that he had yet to undress himself. “Why are your clothes still on?”

Weiss decided to steal a line from him. “Oh? Sorry, I was too busy watching you get undressed.”

But he didn’t want to be teased today. It had been a month since they ‘did it’ last. Yesterday he had been just too tired to do anything at all. He hated it when they put him on that damn pillar. It seemed to suck the strength right out of him! It usually took him at least a day to recuperate. He was still just a little tired. And here was Weiss, sitting on his chair at the table. If he wasn’t blushing he wouldn’t know that he had any effect on him at all.

He was going to change that soon enough.

There was something strange about seeing Nero’s darkness billow up from the ground and his feet. If he wasn’t used to it, if he didn’t know him so well he might be frightened. If it had been a few months ago he would have thought him being playful. But after they were lovers it was different. He was going to do something to him in a moment, something wicked and completely unfair… something he was going to enjoy immensely.

Blackness consumed the room but his light shined out, saving him from this. He was the only one who could live here and not die right away. In fact, he couldn’t be brought here unless he allowed it. For some reason, that always pleased Nero. He was still in his chair, it made him realize that Nero hadn’t sent them into the other world, but they were in the same room. He felt his clothes wash off of him. Such a strange feeling. He watched Nero’s strait jacket disappear in the same manner over and over again as he needed the use of his real hands.

He felt those hands on him suddenly, a wispy feeling touching over him although he could not see him. Nero was hiding himself. For what reason he did no know, but he wasn’t afraid.

“Weiss…” His soft voice cooed. It was melodic and reverberated in his ears. Such a strange and soothing sound. “My beloved.”

He tittered, his brother really enjoyed putting his name together with endearments. Maybe he should do one of his own. “Yes dear?”

Nero’s voice gave pause, as if amused by his answer. He had meant it to be a statement, not a question. He said nothing as he moved to Weiss, he knew he could see his eyes, glowing an amber color. The same color his irises would change into when he went Net diving. He closed his eyes then, disappearing from him. He didn’t need to have his eyes open to see in the darkness. He was all too aware of where Weiss was and what he would do to him. He extracted Weiss’ belt from somewhere within him and he fluttered behind his brother. “Put your arms back behind the chair.”

“Like this?” Weiss asked, moving them to where he wanted them.

The way he was just doing as he said made him want to groan in satisfaction. He was older than him, his Weiss. He was stronger than him in everyway and yet he allowed him these small pleasures. Weiss permitted him whatever he wanted for the most part… unless he was getting too overzealous or greedy of course. He couldn’t help it though, he wanted him completely and all the time. What he wouldn’t give to be with him all the time instead of just at the end of the day? Sometimes he didn’t get to see him at all if they were chained up away from each other.

Nero was just so happy that he gave himself to him like he did. He had been fearful for a time that Weiss might have grown afraid of men after what happened to him. He could have just as easily picked a woman to be with. He was something of an equal opportunist after all.

He was so lucky. “Move your legs to the side.” He did and Nero moved to strap his ankles onto the chair legs.

“Are you going to keep me in here much longer?” Weiss asked, he was becoming somewhat uncomfortable but hadn’t said anything until now. He could fight off his brother’s imposing abilities, but even they wore at him after a while. It seemed to want to drink him in… and he had a lot of bad memories it wanted to flesh out of him.

Nero pulled his darkness back almost instantly. There was no point in ruining this moment with Weiss with bad thoughts… or weakening him too much. It wouldn’t suit his needs if his brother were tired or upset. Oh… he looked positively delicious tied up like that.

“Having fun?” Weiss grinned.

“Not yet.” Nero breathed and Weiss laughed. Nero smiled at that, he lost some of that shy uncertainty when they were first together. He seemed much more comfortable now… even strapped to a chair he trusted him fully. He was going to reward him so nicely.

“Give me a kiss.” Weiss purred, the chair creaking as he shifted. He wasn’t going to break his favorite seat but he couldn’t help that he was strong enough to break it.

“Demanding.” Nero tittered. “I spoil you, you know?”

“Of course, because you love me. Now give me a kiss.”

“I will give you a kiss when I feel like it.” But he was leaning down to kiss him anyway. “How do you taste so sweet all the time?”

“I have no idea… why do you taste like cigarettes and booze all the time?” Weiss teased.

“That is mean! I do not taste like alcohol all the time!”

“Well you do taste like cloves and cigarettes.” Weiss teased.

“Do you not like it?” Nero wondered. “I can stop if you like. It might take some time though.”

“And you’d do that for me, hm?”

“Only for you.” Nero smiled. “But it will be hard… I have been doing it for some time you know?”

“I know.”

“I think I will miss it.”

“Really?”

“I think I’ll miss sucking the most though.” He looked particularly predatory tonight.

Holy crap! Weiss began laughing again. “You don’t have to stop on my account… but I can help you with that if you like.”

“Oh, I am sure you will.” Nero tittered, straddling him. “But you never answered my question…”

“Because I’ve got such a sweet personality?” Weiss tittered.

“Is that so?” Nero wondered. “Are you lying to me Nii-san? Are you hiding something from me?”

Weiss tilted his head to the side. “Like what?”

“Like some candy?”

“You’ve got a real sweet tooth you know that?” Weiss smiled. “I only have one day at most.”

“That makes you taste good all day then?”

“I guess.”

“Maybe you are just sweet all the time.” Nero kissed him again. “I am so glad they let me go this morning.”

“Why?” Weiss grinned impishly up at him.

“Tomorrow is our day off which means I do not have to worry about you missing any sleep.” He couldn’t help but shivered at the thought. “Which means I am going to make you cum all night.”

“I don’t know if you can make me.” Weiss tittered. “You’ll have to stop sometime.”

“I will stop at six in the morning,” Nero affirmed. “Until you pass out or until you beg me to stop.” Then he grinned and placed a light kiss on his cheek. He was going to do a number of evil things to him today. “What should I do first?”

“I thought you needed some help with sucking.”

“Me or you?”

“Me if you like… you if you’re gentle.”

Nero shivered. “I will be gentle then… and then I will take care of you.”

Weiss could only smile. “I hope you’re tall enough.”

“If I stand on the chair I will be.” Nero accepted the challenge with a grin.

“You’re going to fall and I won’t be able to catch you.”

“I won’t fall.”

12/27/06: Author’s Notes: Yes, I know I’m awful for leaving it at that. I figured eleven pages without double spacing was a good place to end… brew ha ha… I’m pretty much finished with the lemon so there should be virtually no wait time. Honestly, I’m not sure where I am headed with this particular end of the story. That being said… I’m not sure how many chapters there will be… hopefully not too many. I think when it goes into twenty chapters I start getting lost hehe.

I might make time jump ahead a lot but I’m not completely certain. We’ll see I guess. I just wanted to do more smexing and talk more about their lives together.

I want to give a thank you to everyone who has reviewed, chatted and edited my stories. It’s really helped out a lot.

Editing is still underway for my previous stories in this series. I keep finding places where Nero gets a little too informal. So I constantly have to straiten his dialog out a bit. I’ll probably mention it in the updates though. My sister has also been kind enough to proof read and find some stuff that I and Aquila missed the first few read throughs. Thanky Heessh! Purr!
